The Role
The Senior Product Designer is a pivotal position at Curai, pushing both our products and design practice forward with new ideas, strategic thinking, and execution rigor. Working directly on our core products and design systems, they meaningfully impact the experience and outcomes of Curai patients and providers across the US.

Passionate design practitioners, they champion our users and the latest ideas in product design, bringing actionable insights and perspective into their work. They play a hands-on role in the success of Curai’s products, from shaping the big picture to the smallest details.

What You’ll Do
•Hands-on design and prototyping of new features that improve the experience and outcomes of thousands of patients and providers across the US
•Work directly with the Head of Design and Product Managers to illustrate and communicate design strategy through various artifacts (e.g., user flows, screen designs, journey maps, etc.)
•Conduct and synthesize research activities including benchmarking, user & stakeholder interviews, and usability studies
•Uncovering and capturing product requirements in conjunction with researchers, product managers, and engineers
•Work closely with teams of clinicians, product managers, data scientists, engineers, and QA to ensure effective design execution and seamless delivery 
•Documenting designs, handoff, and collaborating with engineers to guide development
•Advance the Product Design practice at Curai through craft leadership, codifying processes, and mentorship of junior colleagues

What You’ll Need
Candidates must submit a digital portfolio of at least 3 professional projects demonstrating their process and experience in creating artifacts that communicate complex Product Design to product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

•Bachelor’s degree in Digital/Product Design, HCI, or a related field
5+ years of professional experience designing complex, multi-user/role digital products & services in B2B and B2C contexts (e.g., Healthcare, Energy, Financial Services, Government)
•Experience leading the end-to-end user-centered design process from ideation to delivery
Mastery of craft across interaction and visual design for mobile and web applications
Demonstrable experience building, maintaining, and evolving complex design systems
Experience working inside cross-functional teams with product management, engineering, QA, and data science in fast-paced, ever-changing environments
Demonstrable experience in conducting and synthesizing research with users and stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The annual base salary range for this position is between $160,000-$190,000. Stock grants also play a key part in any offer, they increase your overall compensation package significantly based on company success. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
