We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team working on our Customer Experience Platform (CXP)—the unified system that brings together AI-powered automation and human expertise to transform how enterprise contact centers serve their customers.

You'll work on complex, high-impact product experiences that reach millions of users through our Fortune 500 clients. This includes designing intuitive tools for customer service agents, configuration interfaces for AI administrators, and orchestration systems that coordinate AI and human work across voice and digital channels.

This role balances strategic vision with hands-on execution. You'll partner closely with product and engineering leadership to define how these systems come together, while also delivering the tactical milestones that move us forward week by week. You'll be working in an AI-forward environment alongside world-class AI researchers and engineers, designing experiences in a rapidly evolving space.

This role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office work two days per week in either our New York City or Mountain View office.

What you'll do

  • Design intuitive experiences across the Customer Experience platform, including:
  • Agent workspaces
  • End-customer interactions
  • AI observability and tooling
  • Create user-friendly configuration interfaces that make complex AI and automation systems accessible to business users
  • Contribute to the design system and establish UI/UX patterns for dense, feature-rich professional applications
  • Collaborate with world-class ML and NLP researchers, engineers, data scientists, and product leaders to solve novel design challenges
  • Partner with product leadership to define customer-focused product visions and tactical strategies for delivering value iteratively
  • Move quickly while maintaining quality—working alongside engineers to see your designs deployed in weeks, not months
  • Prototype and explore design solutions using code to validate ideas before full implementation
  • Learn what works through customer feedback, usage data, and iterative testing
  • Participate in design critiques and collaborate with fellow designers to ensure design quality and consistency

What you'll need

  • 4–6 years of product design experience, with a portfolio showcasing:
  • Complex workflow design
  • Enterprise applications or professional tools
  • Technical depth and comfort with code—able to prototype with tools like React, TypeScript, or similar
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and technical constraints
  • Proven ability to design complex workflows with multiple configuration options, real-time constraints, and diverse user needs
  • Strong conceptual thinking and ability to translate customer and business needs into clear design solutions
  • Self-directed and productive—you ship, balancing craft with velocity
  • Hunger for excellence and a refined sense of what makes great software
  • Excellent communication skills—able to clearly articulate design decisions across engineering, product, and leadership teams
  • Collaborative mindset—comfortable giving and receiving feedback, navigating ambiguity, and working in a small, close-knit team
  • Excitement about AI and curiosity about how it transforms both products and the design process

  • Track record of contributing to or building design systems for complex product suites
  • Experience working in highly technical environments with close collaboration between design and engineering
