About Ironclad:

Ironclad is the #1 contract lifecycle management platform for innovative companies. Every company, in every country, in every industry runs on contracts, but managing these contracts slows companies down and costs them millions of dollars. L’Oréal, Staples, Mastercard, Dropbox, DoorDash, Snap Inc., and other leading innovators use Ironclad to collaborate and negotiate on contracts, accelerate contracting while maintaining compliance, and turn contracts into critical carriers of operational business intelligence. It’s the only platform flexible enough to handle every type of contract workflow, whether a sales agreement, an HR agreement, or a complex NDA.

Ironclad recently reached a $3.2B valuation with a $150M Series E Investment round. Ironclad’s innovation and work culture has been recognized by Forbes’ 50 Most Promising AI Companies in 2021, Fortune’s Best Small & Medium Workplaces in 2021, Battery Ventures and Glassdoor’s 25 Highest-Rated Cloud Computing Company Employers, Fast Company’s 2020 Best Workplaces for Innovators, Glassdoor’s Best Machine Learning Startups, and Wing Venture Capital’s Enterprise Tech 30 List. As a design team, we’re doing things a bit differently. Our team is built on the belief that everyone has an inherent capability for creativity, and that the best solutions are found when people tackle problems together. We bring our peers into our work so that the language of design becomes universally understood by building with our values: integrity, empathy, intent, and drive.

As a Product Designer at Ironclad:

  • You love to listen | You want to intimately know the people you’re designing for and how your work impacts their lives
  • You tell stories | You can weave a narrative that puts your ideas into the context of real life, whether it’s through words, pictures, or interactive prototypes
  • You know your medium | You know what it takes to build software, and how to work within its constraints.  But you’re also constantly pushing the limits and searching for opportunities for the product to become better.
  • You’re a craftsperson | You have a process and you can lead people through it.
  • You sweat the small stuff | You know it’s the little things that make people love a product. You obsess over details and are excited to polish until your work is pixel-perfect
  • You know when to ship | You know that sometimes it’s better to validate assumptions early on
  • You think holistically | You connect the dots as part of a larger system
  • You’re pretty SaaS-y | You’ve delved into the consumer playbook to bring delight to enterprise users all while moving the metrics that count

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Working with our Packaging & Admin Experience engineering and product team(s) to deliver features to our customers
  • Partnering with the product managers and engineers in strategic planning, including defining problems & goals, mapping user flows, prototyping interactions, and overseeing design quality during the development process

  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills to articulate concepts, feedback and rationale and promote UX led initiatives

  • Past experience designing digital products and systems and have helped shipped products, ideally in the SaaS/B2B space
