The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Product Marketing to drive strategic commercialization efforts at SimplePractice. In this highly visible position, you will lead several high impact initiatives contributing to both short term and long term company goals. This position is focused on the outbound motion of product marketing and will be centered around launching new products and services and reinforcing the value of existing products and features to drive growth using a data driven approach.You will work closely with product and internal marketing teams teams as well as partner closely with analytics, consumer insights, inbound marketing, customer success, and creative teams.

Responsibilities 

  • Drive commercialization strategy for new products and services within the SimplePractice portfolio
  • Develop end to end GTM strategy and lead horizontally across the organization to drive alignment and create and deliver a truly integrated experience that delights customers and drives business growth
  • Develop clear briefs for creative and channel teams to help drive demand, relying heavily on research and the voice of the customer
  • Be accountable for setting KPIs and driving business outcomes from major product launches and communicating regular updates to leadership through ongoing forecasting, reporting and root cause analyses 
  • Leverage the appropriate learning strategies, including qualitative and quantitative consumer research and A/B in-market testing to drive optimization of GTM initiatives
  • Champion fact-based decision-making and efficient execution across teams, acting as the ‘connective tissue’ that links our GTM initiatives to our strategy 
  • Build strong relationships with internal cross-functional partners including Product Marketing members, Channel and Performance Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Product, CI/Research as well as outside agencies and partners 
  • Make go-forward recommendations, present and share learning and recommendations across the organization

Desired Skills & Experience 

  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of product marketing and go to market experience including bringing new offerings to market, as well as driving revenue & customer growth 
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across internal marketing teams, product, design, analytics, research, and finance, to drive business growth 
  • Strong storyteller with experience developing clear and compelling value propositions, merchandising and messaging, pricing strategies, and go to market strategies for new products and services 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving orientation with clear examples of using data actively for target setting, measurement, ROI analysis and recommendations for business growth 
  • Strong in distilling and communicating complex concepts in an understandable and relatable fashion that will fit the needs for different audiences to lead cross functional teams to reach desired outcomes 
  • Ability to translate consumer insights into thoughtful GTM plans helping to deliver on critical company objectives 
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to deliver strong, predictable results 
  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills, as well as an effective communicator at all levels
  • Self-starter who sees ambiguity as an opportunity. Problem solver who is excited for the challenge and willing to roll up the sleeves to overcome obstacles in creative ways
