As the Sr. Director of Product Marketing at Secure Code Warrior (SCW), you will be responsible for driving our security development platform's go-to-market strategy and positioning. You will work closely with the product and sales teams to understand the unique value proposition of SCW and communicate this effectively to our product marketing team by driving campaign themes, strategy, and content to build the marketing and sales engine forward.
Product Marketing is the hub for SCW’s marketing growth engine. It is the key partner with Product and go-to-market teams to drive growth and the team that fuels our demand generation engine with compelling themes and content.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to position SCW as the leading platform for security development. Leverage product-led and value-selling narratives to differentiate SCW’s value in the market.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and pain points and use this insight to develop targeted messaging and positioning.
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to develop compelling messaging and content for use in sales enablement, demand generation, and customer success.
- Oversee the launch of new product features and enhancements, including developing launch plans and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop and manage relationships with key partners and influencers in the security development community.
- Analyze sales and market data to understand trends and opportunities and use this insight to drive continuous improvement in our product marketing efforts.
- Work as a player/coach - leading by example and guiding the team to success. This is an operator role where you must flex from strategic to executing.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years of product marketing experience focused on SaaS-based software. Security experience is desirable.
- Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in developing and building agile teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
- Proven track record of launching successful campaigns and product launches
- Strong product management partnership to drive roadmap decisions
