Senior Brand/Marketing Designer

We’re looking for a talented Brand Designer to join our team in London. You’ll be working on projects that help us spread the word about Plum across the UK and soon the 🌍.

The Role

As our Senior Brand Designer, you’ll oversee and lead the design of all marketing collateral for Plum customers across the UK and Europe.

You’ll form a key part of our energetic, dynamic and supportive design team leading the creative concepts and visuals for a variety of digital marketing material.

You will:

• Be a key strategy partner to a variety of stakeholders across the business including Marketing Managers, Copywriters, Designers, Product teams and Senior Leadership
• Play a key role in the development and roll out of our upcoming rebrand
• Standardise our visuals across all channels including display, social, email, and web properties
• Take your ideas from concept to execution ensuring high-quality outputs which drive measurable business results
• Adapt the brand across markets ensuring sensibilities to different cultures and languages across European countries.
• Be the glue between Marketing and Product teams and build long lasting relationships which see us deliver experiences which have a meaningful impact on our customer’s lives
• Mentor and up skill other designers

We’re looking for someone who is

• Passionate about creating beautiful, purposeful design with a broad portfolio that demonstrates your visual design, communication skills and the impact you’ve had – show us the numbers.
• Works collaboratively with other designers and members of the marketing team in a fast-paced work environment
• Meticulous with a high bar and attention to detail, passion for quality and constantly raising standards
• A driver for visual consistency at every touch point of the customer lifecycle
• Capable of managing and prioritising a workload of multiple strategic projects
• Articulate in their design decisions confidently across the company, and can give and take feedback constructively and empathetically
• Fluent in industry standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator & After Effects), Figma, Keynote etc
• Proficient in creating basic animations/videos for use in display ads and in product screens – don’t worry, we’re not looking for a Disney movie
• Compitent in creating illustrations, iconography and other vector artwork
• Experienced in leading and collaborating with third-parties such as design and brand agencies

Bonus points if you’re experienced in:

• Leading the creative roll out of a new brand
• Creating print ready artwork
• Working in an early-stage startup, a creative agency or a financial technology company
