About The Role:

After the redesign in 2019, the Rippling Brand has become a huge asset and differentiator for the company. And our team has earned the respect of stakeholders at every level. That comes with creative autonomy as well as pressure! That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a Senior Brand Designer (slash Art Director) to support our VP of Brand and Design Manager. You’ll be a part of a 30+ person creative team operating at the highest level. We’re made up of designers of all kinds and the most talented group of animators, writers, 3D artists, illustrators and so on.

Like every other team member, you’ll be expected to roll up your sleeves on a wide variety of tasks. From slide decks and banner ads to icons and event spaces. At the same time, you’ll be empowered to spin up and spearhead major initiatives that have a direct impact on the business.

What You'll Do: 

  • Support our VP of Brand and report to the Design Manager 
  • Evolve and maintain our visual brand through our robust brand guidelines
  • Apply the brand across a variety of uses—collateral systems, social media, ads and direct mail, event and specialty sub-brands
  • Provide art direction to illustrators, animators, iconographers, photographers, videographers, etc.
  • Work hand-in-hand with internal stakeholders such as Product and Growth Marketing, People Ops, Comms, Content and so on

Qualifications:

  • Expert level in design fundamentals like layout, typography, composition, etc.
  • Strong business acumen and experience brand-building for SaaS
  • Highly organized and skilled at proactively spotting inefficiencies or communication gaps
  • Natural curiosity for and interest in our product and SaaS at large
  • Ability to balance speed and quality while pushing creative boundaries
  • Proficient in Adobe CS, Figma, Asana, Google Workspace, Slack
