Salesforce Product Owner, Enterprise Systems
The Enterprise Systems team is responsible for supporting the technological needs of the commercial, accounting and finance teams at KAYAK and Opentable. The team leads a system landscape which is built around NetSuite and Salesforce Saas platforms which integrate into KAYAK’s data warehouse as well as additional operations systems. The Salesforce instance contains a self-built billing/invoicing module.
We would love you to help strengthen our in-house Salesforce product, analyst and development team to take our Salesforce instance to the next Lightning level.
As a Product owner for us you will work to set new architectural/functional standards for two Salesforce instances and defines the product roadmap with commercial and financial partners and is responsible to ensure development goals/commitments are met.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, flexible, curious and communicative product manager who strives to design pioneering system features to keep up with the dynamics of our financial infrastructure and is not afraid to tackle an entirely new subject matters or starting substantial transformation projects.
In this role you will:
Lead the Salesforce product/service roadmap for two instances.
Work with Salesforce technical reps as well as 3rd party suppliers.
Build and handle a small team of dedicated Salesforce system/business analysts
Collaborate with cross functional internal tech teams as well as external Salesforce contractors.
Be responsible for ticket testing, documentation, user training and user system support queue.
Lead IT SOX compliance and collaborate with Risk and Compliance team
Aspiring towards process and feature standard methodologies and data quality
Be a critical inspiring leader within the team, focused on big picture innovation, process improvement, and automation.
Apply for this role if:
You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Business or relevant work experience
At least 5 years of work experience as a Salesforce business analyst or product manager/owner.
Strong project management skills.
Social and interpersonal skills to cooperate with, understand, and simplify solutions for non-technical partners in a clear and concise manner
Independent mind who can work with little direction, and proactively seeks solutions.
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to pace and forecast potential hurdles and solutions to them
Experience in working with financial data and billing systems is desirable
