The Senior Product Manager, UX is a key role within the product team and will play a critical role in driving the success and evolution of our products for a range of industry verticals.

The Role
The Product Owner is a key role within Modulr and will directly impact the growth and scale of the business by driving delivery of fixes, enhancements and new products.
Key responsibilities
- Be an intrinsic member of assigned agile quads, representing product and driving the timely execution of roadmap whilst managing product incidents, support requests and engineering initiatives.
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in Payments & Scheme rules, guidance and requirements. ecoming a key go.
- Developing an understanding of the value proposition of the products you manage, their positioning in each of the verticals and how they solve their customers’ problems.
- Creating requirements and product stories in an Agile development environment, working with both internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements to ensure all regulatory, Scheme and operational standards are met.
- Defining the product and technical roadmap for the engineering team, ensuring requirements are clearly articulated and communicated to your agile quad(s), and prioritise work that delivers value within each sprint.
- Ensuring a clear product development plan that aligns with any external and internal milestones.
- Actively managing key supplier relationships relating to assigned products & services.
- Developing and supporting launching the product, ensuring impacts on teams across the business are assessed, and actively managed/signed off ahead of go-live.
- Creating and maintaining internal documentation and functional overview(s)for use by stakeholders, and supporting development of external collateral including technical and propositional materials where needed.
- Responsible for regularly communicating updates on progress, ensuring any issues are pro-actively managed.
- Establishingthe performance and scalability of your products against KPIs, including monitoring ensuring issues are triaged and resolved in a timely manner,and also responding to changes in the market and client demands.
- Working closely with the wider product & marketing team to ensure we successfully package products to solve problems for our customers in our target verticals.

About you
You will have a track-record of delivering results in a fast-moving business where complexity and ambiguity is the norm. Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration is essential to being successful in this role.
- Relevant experience as a Product Owner/ Product Manager, or a strong background in a Technical leadership role or similar.
- A proven track record of delivery in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, able to demonstrate a strong ability to balance multiple priorities that may change frequently.
- Ideally a background in Payments, particularly the technical operation of Payment Schemes, Settlement and interfaces/gateways.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and experience of agile tooling & methodologies.
- Outstanding communication skills, able to manage internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Be able to operate at a range of levels – both in terms of big picture strategic thinking, thought leadership and getting into the data and analysis.
- Strong collaborative skills and enjoys working with different functions within the business.
