Product Owner - Fintech

W1TTY is a fast-growing UK based fintech, setting new standards for digital finance. We’re building a new digital finance platform and a fully mobile-based finance app, offering multicurrency accounts, domestic and international transfers, debit cards, and instant payments. Amongst our platform are components such as core banking, mobile banking, cards systems, and many more.

We are looking for multiple Product Owners to join our competent product and engineering teams with the skill sets in either of these verticals.

2. Stock Trading
3. Asset Tokenisation

In this refined Product Owner role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the product's success by guiding its strategic direction, fostering collaboration among teams, ensuring product quality, and seeking opportunities for growth and improvement. Your contributions will be essential in delivering a successful and competitive product in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Product Roadmap Development: Develop and communicate a comprehensive strategic roadmap that outlines product enhancements and process improvements for each major release.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with various teams across the organization to align business objectives and project deliverables across multiple application platforms.

• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with Development, Quality Assurance (QA), and other team members to gather and define functional requirements, user needs, and test scenarios.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with multiple stakeholders from product, design, technology, legal, risk, compliance, and other departments to manage prioritization and maintain control over project timelines.

• Backlog Prioritization: Prioritize the product backlog based on the business demand, business cases, product key performance indicators (KPIs), and strategic business goals such as customer research and development, competitive positioning, and market trends.

• Documentation and Scope Definition: Provide clear vision and scope documentation, including use cases, product requirements, epics, and user stories to support the development team's efforts.

• Issue Resolution: Identify potential roadblocks in the development process and develop recommendations to overcome them, ensuring the project stays on track.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct pre-release reviews, which may include regression testing and QA, to certify that the release is production-ready and meets quality standards.

• Performance Reviews: Regularly review product performance with key stakeholders, assessing progress against the plan, key milestones, deliverables, and any management focus items.

• Vendor and Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to enhance the product offering, exploring opportunities for product improvement and growth through external relationships.

• Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess technical and process improvements that can enhance the overall effectiveness and marketability of the product, making recommendations where applicable.
