About the Role

We're seeking a Product Operations Manager to support our product team in implementing systems that enable consistent, efficient project delivery at scale. As we expand our portfolio of AI research partnerships and custom data labeling projects, we need someone who can work closely with our product and ops teams to operationalize new functionality that power these complex delivery projects.

What You'll Do

Process Excellence & Optimization

  • Operationalize new product features and capabilities through standardized templates and best practices

  • Build scalable workflows that create alignment between product, operations, and internal stakeholders

  • Continuously improve development processes using emerging technologies in data labeling, research operations, and AI tooling

Data-Driven Performance Management

  • Establish comprehensive data collection across all touchpoints to enable meaningful reporting and analytics

  • Track feature adoption, implementation success, and workflow pain points to prioritize improvements

  • Create dashboards that surface actionable insights for product and operations teams

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with internal teams to establish feedback loops and communication channels that surface issues early

  • Collect client feedback and track quality metrics, timeline adherence, and satisfaction scores

  • Support team onboarding, knowledge transfer, and training to maximize tool effectiveness across diverse projects

Product Development Operations

  • Create visibility systems for product development timelines and feature delivery milestones

  • Build communication frameworks to support product development initiatives

  • Design and facilitate key product planning sessions and stakeholder check-ins

  • Establish monitoring systems to track product development progress and surface risks proactively

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

  • 3+ years in operations, program management, or similar role in data services, research, or AI/LLM environments

  • Experience supporting complex, custom project delivery in a scaling technology or services environment

  • Proven track record of implementing processes and systems that improve team efficiency and project quality

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, reporting, and project metrics

  • Comfortable writing SQL queries and building dashboards to surface operational insights and identify process bottlenecks through data analysis.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and data labeling platforms

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to work across all organizational levels

  • Problem Solving: Natural troubleshooter who proactively identifies issues and builds sustainable solutions

  • Adaptability: Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with competing priorities

  • Collaboration: Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships

  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable with data analysis, basic SQL, and learning new software platforms quickly

Nice to Have

  • Experience in data labeling, large language models, or AI research environments

  • Background in research operations, academic research, or working with research institutions

  • Familiarity with data annotation tools, quality assurance processes, and dataset management

  • Experience managing client relationships in a services or consulting environment

  • Understanding of LLM workflows and training data requirements

  • Background in consulting, operations, or business analysis

  • Project management certification (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.)

  • Experience with APIs and data pipeline management

What Success Looks Like

First 30 Days

  • Audit current project delivery processes and identify key improvement opportunities

  • Establish relationships with research teams, data specialists, and key client stakeholders

  • Implement quick wins that demonstrate immediate value in project efficiency

  • Begin standardizing project workflows and documentation templates

First Year

  • Measurable improvement in project delivery efficiency and quality
