About the team & opportunity

What’s so great about working on Calendly’s Product team?

We strive to design a seamless product experience that delights our customers.

Calendly is currently looking for a Product Operations Specialist who will join our team to build on the success of the Calendly product - which is the best way to schedule the meetings that matter most to a professional or a business.

We’re growing fast and looking to scale our product culture and process. We’re a band of happy product people who have adopted world class approaches to building product but are constantly looking to refine and improve them as we grow. We need a product and process-minded individual to help make us the most capable and nimblest product organization in the world. You’ll be reporting directly to the Head of Product Operations and be a trusted advisor to him. We encourage collaborative sparring to develop the best ideas, and you will also be encouraged to use your creativity and drive to accomplish the team’s goals.

On a typical day, you will be working on:

  • Analyzing and identifying where there are opportunities for improvement in the product process, both internally to the Product team (product management, design, and research) and cross-departmentally
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to drive greater awareness, alignment, and delivery of Calendly’s business priorities within the product
  • Assisting in managing and evolving product enablement tools and technology (Tools include: Aha!, Figma, FullStory, JIRA, etc.)
  • Championing initiatives to strengthen relationships between product and other departments
  • Design of R&D rituals and help document a product playbook; be the primary champion to embed improvements throughout the organization
  • Working on cool special projects to make the organization and product better (Examples include: onboarding, team building, mentoring)

What do we need from you?

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in within an agile, technology product organization (ideally, SaaS products); specifically, experience managing and improving sophisticated workflows and processes
  • A track record of helping product teams do more and deliver results
  • Experience working closely with product managers, designers, and researchers - you know how features are built and shipped
  • Ability to understand how different processes within and beyond the team work together and the implications of change to these processes
  • Desire to create streamlined processes that get results and allow for quick course correction
  • Evidence of product related experience is a big plus; we would love to consider candidates from product management, design, or business operations backgrounds

What’s in it for you?

Ready to make a serious impact? Millions of people already rely on Calendly’s products, and we’re still in the midst of our growth curve — it’s a phenomenal time to join us. Everything you’ll work on here will accelerate your career to the next level. If you want to learn, grow, and do the best work of your life alongside the best people you’ve ever worked with, then we hope you’ll consider allowing Calendly to be a part of your professional career.

Typically, individuals will participate in the following interview process. However, there may be slight nuances given the role and or department we are hiring for. Please keep in mind that individuals can be declined from the position at any stage of the process.

  • Qualified individuals will be invited to schedule a phone interview with a member of our recruiting team. This is a great time to ask any initial questions you have about the company or the role.
  • Next, we’ll put you in direct contact with your potential manager. You’ll get a chance to learn even more about life at Calendly, the responsibilities within your role, and the qualities needed to succeed here.
  • Next, you’ll meet with your potential team members for a teammate and culture add interview.
  • If those go well, the next set of interviews will be with cross functional partners in design and research as well as a final sync call with your potential manager.
