In this role, you'll not only serve as a strategic leader but also become an expert in merchandising operations. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Creation, Creative Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Sales, Sourcing, and Sourcing Ops. What you will be doing...
- Establish in partnership with cross-functional partners and maintain end-to-end process-calendars.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to establish timelines of the tactical steps within the end-to-end process-calendar.
- Drive-through-influence accountability across multiple functions; being a thought partner to business unit leaders/partners in problem solving related to calendar adherence.
- Ensuring tracking of actual dates-&-gates to planned on each step of process to allow for continued improvement to process (i.e. 30|60|90 day status); escalate areas at risk and provide potential solutions.
- Measure, track, and report process-calendar implementation against new business or needed improvements, prepare comprehensive summaries and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Process governance and analysis of duplicate data and/or physical touch points to refine & define streamlined communication and accountability, enabling efficiency, speed & agility.
- Manages centralized SOPs, Training & On-Boarding Materials.
- Possible travel, including overseas, account and league reviews.
What you will bring...
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, merchandising, manufacturing, or related field; or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in apparel product creation, operations, consulting, or relevant consumer product industry without a degree.
- Deep end-to-end consumer garment product creation knowledge.
- Experience with Process Governance, Influencing and Change Management, at all levels.
- Collaborative & strong communication skillset, including strong story-telling skills (i.e. from-to scenarios).
- Strength in Airtable, or similar project management tools, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage complex projects and balance multiple workstreams.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and influence a team to clarity and results through this.
- Passionate, curious problem solver.
- Change agent/change management skillset.
- Ability to form culture at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced skill level in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as familiarity with data warehouses and database management.
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the job
