The Gig

At Squarespace, our platform empowers millions of people — from individuals and local artists to entrepreneurs shaping the world’s most iconic businesses — to create and manage their online presence.

Squarespace is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive growth and user success for Unfold, a Squarespace app that makes social media easy with design-forward content creation and management tools.

Unfold joined Squarespace in 2019 to help our customers maintain consistent branding across all of their digital touchpoints, including social media. As more ideas and businesses are born and take shape on social media, you will pave the way for creators and entrepreneurs to unlock their creative potential and be successful on social media with Unfold.

You’ll craft positioning and messaging to connect what’s possible in Unfold to user needs, lead go-to-market strategy, partner cross-functionally to execute on product marketing plans, play a key role in app growth and the team’s understanding of the market, and shape the future of the Unfold product.

This role is based in our NYC headquarters and reports directly to the Acquisitions Product Marketing Manager. This is an opportunity to join our Marketing team at an exciting stage of growth and innovation globally.

You’ll Get To…

  • Develop positioning and messaging that differentiates our products, features, and updates in the market
  • Craft go-to-market strategies for new product launches and accompanying briefs for channel partners
  • Identify and develop evergreen marketing campaigns that drive product adoption and growth
  • Recommend new products and app improvements to product and design partners
  • Draw on qualitative and quantitative insights to understand product adoption, usage, and retention across customer segments
  • Partner with user experience and market research teams to prioritize and deliver products that unlock key insights to guide business decisions
  • Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape and how it impacts our potential for success
  • Maintain consistent voice across user-facing surfaces, from organic and paid marketing to product
  • Own internal reporting, analysis, and communication of marketing initiatives
  • Communicate and champion marketing initiatives internally

Who We’re Looking For

  • 3-4 years of marketing experience, with 2+ years of demonstrated success in product marketing, growth marketing, product management, content strategy, or go-to-market
  • Mobile app experience preferred
  • Deep user understanding to be the voice of the user in every “room” and on every project
  • Data-driven with the ability to discover and tie together insights to influence decisions
  • A storyteller with strong communication skills (verbal, written, visual), distilling complex concepts into simple language
  • Project management abilities to plan and execute cross-functional initiatives and prioritize across multiple product launches
  • Growth mindset, adaptability, and a drive for continuous improvement of self and team

Benefits & Perks

  • Health insurance with 100% premium covered for you and your dependent children
  • Fertility and adoption benefits
  • Retirement benefits with employer match
  • Flexible vacation & paid time off
  • Up to 20 weeks of paid family leave
  • Equity plan for all employees
