At Lyft, our mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation. To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization.

Imagine a world where with a single app and affordable membership, you can easily choose between modes and get the right ride for your needs every single time - whether it's a bike, scooter, bus, train, or car. Bikes and scooters create personal transit options that people love and cities need. We also connect people to transit stops with a sustainable and affordable transportation option, making it more feasible to give up a personal car.

The Product Marketing team partners closely with the Product team to help inform the strategic direction and positioning of products, drives campaigns when rolling out new products, and optimizes current features to support user growth, engagement, and retention. We are hiring Product Marketing Managers who are passionate about our technology, are passionate about bikes, scooters and micromobility, and have a strong understanding of the customer to help bring new Lyft products to market effectively.

In this role, you will lead product marketing efforts for our Transit, Bikes and Scooters (TBS) business. From informing foundational product decisions, understanding the competitive landscape, and bringing new products to market, you’ll help grow and improve our existing product offerings by deeply understanding our customers. You’ll partner closely with Product, Science, Creative, Growth Marketing and other cross-functional teams. As a part of our TBS team, you will have a meaningful opportunity to expand on our vision to be the most widely used and loved multimodal transportation network in our markets. TBS is in startup mode within a growth-stage company and how we operate in local markets shifts rapidly. Like us, you will continuously test and iterate and thrive in environments where change is constant.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and shape value propositions and develop a marketing strategy for Transit, Bikes and Scooter products and features in conjunction with the Product and Engineering teams
  • Be the voice and expert on the micromobility audience, regularly sharing insights and pushing for a better understanding of our customers
  • Engage cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Design, Legal, Data Science, Brand, Support, etc. to fuel ongoing product adoption and go-to-market launches
  • Collaborate with other TBS marketers to create impactful integrated campaigns that leverage our growth marketing and regional marketing capabilities.
  • Write creative briefs and partner with creative teams to design campaign assets that drive engagement and align with our brand guidelines
  • Work with our Analytics team to measure the impact of product changes and campaigns
  • Collaborate with partners to rapidly experiment and iterate to increase conversion and product usage
  • Identify product opportunities based on user research, rider behavior, and market trends

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience relevant to product marketing
  • Experience in applying consumer insights to inform and optimize the product experience
  • Analytical thinker with experience in data-driven marketing
  • Ability to collaborate to drive experimentation focused on conversion and engagement
  • Very strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience developing strategies to solve ambiguous and complex problems
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Must have bias toward action and ability to identify and simplify problems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, manage expectations and work cross-functionally with both analytical and creative teams
  • Experience in the micromobility or transportation industry is preferred (and enthusiasm for the space is a must-have!)

Benefits:

  • Extended health and dental coverage options, along with life insurance and disability benefits
  • Mental health benefits
  • Family building benefits
  • Access to a Health Care Savings Account
  • In addition to provincial observed holidays, team members get 15 days paid time off, with an additional day for each year of service
  • 4 Floating Holidays each calendar year prorated based off of date of hire
  • 10 paid sick days per year regardless of province
  • 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Biological, adoptive, and foster parents are all eligible
