Job Description

We are looking for a product marketer who can bring proactive planning, strong marketing instincts, and exceptional stakeholder management to grow TIDAL’s core streaming product experience. As an individual contributor (IC) Product Marketing Manager, you will partner closely with a wide range of teams from product management and design to go-to-market teams to shape and launch new music experiences for our listeners. You’ll represent the voice of the customer, be the market expert, and influence product strategy and GTM strategy through landing product positioning, messaging and channel strategy. You will be expected to be a leader on our PMM team, evangelizing new processes and systems to drive strong business outcomes. This role is remote friendly (U.S. and Canada). #LI-Remote

You Will:

  • Lead GTM strategy for our core streaming experience

    • Oversee goal-setting, customer insights and segmentation, market analysis, pricing and packaging, positioning, messaging and channel strategy for the TIDAL product

    • Monitor and manage business performance metrics to drive improvements to product adoption and growth

    • Own strategic recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders

    • Collect customer feedback and champion actionable insights to develop programs for referrals, product web strategy, and ongoing customer research 

  • Manage GTM campaigns and partner closely with cross functional teams

    • Be the leader for streaming product and feature launches, collaborating closely with teams across Marketing, Creative, Communications, Lifecycle, Label Relations, CS and more.

    • Oversee and coordinate marketing campaigns, from briefing and marketing asset development to post-launch measurement and analysis

    • Monitor and optimize product and feature launches

    • Collaborate with Marketing and Finance teams to inform marketing budget allocations based on growth opportunities and business objectives

  • Support product development

    • Partner closely with Product Management to identify customer pain points and opportunities, brainstorm solutions, and validate them directly with customers 

    • Advocate for the optimal product experience on behalf of the customer and be willing to roll up your selves to define customer messaging 

  • Champion marketing experimentation 

    • Test in measurable and scalable marketing and product programs that can drive meaningful business impact

Qualifications

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, working on fast-growing software products (music, entertainment or consumer a plus)

  • Demonstrated success partnering closely with a broad set of GTM teams to execute on campaigns (ie. Marketing, Creative, Customer Success, Partnerships, Lifecycle)

  • Experience initiating and managing strategic research projects to inform product and marketing decisions

  • Experience working with product management, design, engineering and analytics partners to scale new features 

  • Experience using data and analytics to help build top-notch GTM strategy and launch marketing campaigns

  • Self-starter who embraces ambiguity, loves problem solving, and thrives on high levels of autonomy

  • An ability to excel at both the strategic and tactical levels to consistently meet planned objectives 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

 

Additional Information

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $135,200 - USD $202,800
Zone B: USD $125,800 - USD $188,600
Zone C: USD $119,000 - USD $178,400
Zone D: USD $108,200 - USD $162,200
