We are looking for a hands-on product marketer for Atlassian's newest, most innovative products within our Point A program. As a member of a small, early-stage team, you'll play an important role in the development and execution of content and go-to-market strategies focused on acquiring, activating, and growing a base of free and paid customers of category-defining products. This role will be a great fit if you thrive in fast-changing environments and are looking for opportunities to grow in a groundbreaking, innovative environment.

You'll partner with customer lifecycle marketing, product, sales, analytics, and more to drive awareness and adoption of our newest products. We are looking for a natural storyteller who takes a customer-centric approach to create compelling narratives and user journeys that maximize conversion by delivering the right message, to the right people, at the right time.

What you'll do

  • Develop comprehensive content marketing strategies that drive key metrics across the customer lifecycle from awareness, to acquisition, activation and expansion
  • Produce multiple content across the customer journey including blog posts, guides, sales collateral, customer stories, newsletters, ads, ebooks, webinars, community posts, site copy and any content corresponding to new business needs/marketing moments
  • Identify key personas and create captivating targeted positioning and messaging to better address speak to our customers
  • Develop and execute multi-channel product marketing campaigns in partnership with product, design, sales, and marketing teams
  • Help customer-facing teams to sell and support the product more effectively
  • Become a trusted partner to the product team and contribute to feedback loop that encompasses customer input, market trends, and competitive factors to influence product development

Your background

  • 3-5 years in product marketing-focused roles
  • A startup mindset with a passion for building products. Although we sit within Atlassian, this is a small, scrappy team and needs to be agile, work quickly, and think BIG. This is an opportunity to be involved in the envisioning, development, and finding product-market fit and scaling with an early venture - a very rare opportunity for a PMM!
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with a specific passion for storytelling
  • Experience contributing to go-to-market plans across multiple channels including email, blog, paid, and web
  • The ability to establish relationships with stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams

As part of Atlassian's Point A group, product marketing works hand-in-hand with our partners in product management, engineering, and design to help define the market, find product-market fit, and refine product experiences as we better understand the needs of our current and future customers.

When we're not partnering with the product team to inform the product vision, we're working in lockstep with our end-to-end marketing teams: field marketing, demand generation, interactive, creative, and data analysts to achieve our customer acquisition and activation goals. This is a very cross-functional role, perfect for someone who is excited about finding the opportunity amidst the chaos and who is confident in their ability to prioritize and deliver measurable results in a world of never-ending opportunity.
