We’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to join our Global Monetization Product Marketing team to help bring the latest innovations in podcast advertising to advertisers, creators, and listeners alike. Our team partners with product and sales teams to define market requirements, launch industry-leading ad products, and develop go-to-market strategies that improve for product adoption and revenue growth.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with the podcast ads R&D teams (product, engineering, design, etc.). You’ll serve as the subject matter expert for the business, represent customer/market needs, and help to drive demand for podcast ad products including Streaming Ad Insertion and the Spotify Audience Network. You’ll partner with R&D to develop and launch new ad products that help advertisers drive impact while helping podcast creators earn more from their work. This is a highly cross-functional role and offers the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our rapidly growing podcast ads business. This is a full-time position based in New York or London and will report to a Product Marketing Lead for Podcast Advertising.
What You'll Do
- Partner with our podcast ads R&D teams (product/engineering/design) to define our product strategy
- Establish and maintain the commercial roadmap for our podcast ad products
- Collect and distill market requirements and serve as the voice of the customer
- Conduct inbound research to identify new growth opportunities for podcast advertisers
- Plan and implement go-to-market launches that enhance for product adoption and revenue growth, partnering with other teams across the Ads Business Unit (R&D, Sales, Business Operations, Comms, Legal, etc.)
- Produce product adoption reports that identify adoption blockers and proposed growth plans
- Act as subject matter expert on podcast advertising, educating internal teams on the competitive landscape, and providing market intelligence that helps inform Spotify’s ad product strategy globally
Who You Are
- You have a BA or BS degree; MBA or quantitative graduate degree a plus
- You have a minimum of 5-7+ years of digital media experience
- You have a minimum of 1-3+ years of product marketing experience
- You have experience leading cross-functional go-to-market launches
- You have a track record of influencing senior customers in both product and sales teams
- You feel comfortable analyzing complex problems
- You can explain highly technical concepts in relatable and compelling language
- You have experience presenting to large groups and meeting with senior partners.
- You have a track record of collaborating with a variety of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- You are empathetic to our customers’ needs
- You have a passion for podcasts and you’re eager to learn about the world of podcast advertising
- You have experience working globally

The United States base range for this position is $102,981 - $147,116, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
