Job Overview:

Coursera’s Product Marketing team connects consumers, educators and enterprises with our world-class learning products, content and solutions. Product Marketers play a key role in finding product-market fit, bringing products to market and driving adoption. In this role, you’ll act as the product marketing lead for Coursera Labs, our suite of hands-on learning experiences, including Guided Projects, that teach learners a range of skills using tools and software in a virtual environment. You’ll also work across our educator platform, supporting initiatives that make it easy for educators to author, teach and manage programs on Coursera. You’ll partner closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to drive product adoption and help develop customer solutions. You’ll also play a critical and high-visibility role in serving as an internal expert and champion for Coursera Labs, actively partnering with teams across our Enterprise and Consumer businesses to help them leverage our hands-on learning tools to meet customer needs. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead product marketing for our hands-on learning products, Coursera Labs and Guided Projects. 
  • Develop industry and audience expertise to create insights that shape the product and marketing roadmap
  • Lead creation of messaging, positioning and content for Coursera Labs and Guided Projects, for a range of audiences including learners, content authors, and enterprise customers
  • Be the expert in Coursera Labs, Guided Projects and competing products, and embed in cross-functional initiatives that leverage Coursera Labs to develop new customer solutions 
  • Drive go-to-market strategy and execution for new launches and features
  • Work to identify new markets and use cases for Coursera Labs through customer and user research, and present market insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years professional experience with 3 years in product marketing or equivalent
  • Experience marketing to developers, software engineers, or technical buyers is required
  • Track record of success and impact in developing go-to-market plans, launching products, and designing, executing and tracking GTM initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience developing messaging and positioning for a range of audiences including developers and technical users as well as technical buyers 
  • Experience developing qualitative and quantitative audience insights to synthesize into business recommendations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with global, enterprise SaaS products
  • Comfort with a fast-paced culture, with the ability to learn quickly, think creatively and stay focused and organized while managing multiple priorities
