Megaphone, a Spotify company, is helping pave the way for podcast creators of all sizes to grow their audiences and earn more from their work. Megaphone was acquired by Spotify in November 2020 and is the world’s leading podcast platform, serving some of the podcast industry’s largest creators.

We’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager based in the United States to join our Monetization Product Marketing team to support the Megaphone business. This role will serve as the voice of the customer, define product strategy, develop a go-to-market strategy, and drive successful launches that enhance Megaphone product adoption. This is a highly cross-functional role and offers the chance to create a significant impact on our rapidly growing podcast business. The Monetization Product Marketing team partners closely with leaders across our Megaphone R&D teams (product, engineering, design, etc.), business development, business operations, legal, content, and PR/communications teams. 

What You'll Do

  • Conduct inbound research to identify new growth opportunities for established podcast creators
  • Collect and distill market requirements and serve as the voice of the customer for our product/engineering teams
  • Partner with our product team to define product strategy and establish the commercial roadmap for Megaphone
  • Establish and implement cross-functional go-to-market launches
  • Produce product adoption reports that identify adoption blockers and proposed growth plans
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Megaphone’s products both internally/externally

Who You Are

  • You have a BA or BS degree; MBA or quantitative graduate degree a plus
  • You have a min of 5-7+ years of strategic product marketing experience and hands-on tactical execution with creators
  • You have experience with customer research and are proficient using data/insights to advise product/GTM strategy
  • You have a passion for podcasts and creator growth
  • You have a track record of influencing senior partners in both product/engineering and sales teams
  • You have an interest in telling stories that are backed by data analysis
  • You have experience working globally and are empathetic to customer needs
  • You have experience launching cross-functional go-to-market launches
  • You have a track record of collaborating with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • You can explain the value of highly technical concepts in human, relatable, and compelling language.
  • You have experience presenting to large groups and meeting with senior external partners.

The United States base range for this position is $102,981- $147,116, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
