As the Product Marketing Manager, you will report to the VP of Marketing and develop the positioning, pricing, packaging and messaging of Mission’s cloud services. In addition, you will support product launches and create new product offerings to go to market with. To do this, you will have to develop a deep understanding of the customer and the market, including how prospects make buying decisions. You sit at the intersection of Product, Marketing and Sales, and will regularly work with these departments to ensure the success of marketing Mission’s services.
This position is 100% remote.
Responsibilities
- Develop product positioning, packaging, messaging and branding that resonates with target buyer personas
- Develop product pricing strategies and structures in collaboration with Sales, Product, and Finance
- Create and implement product launch plans; work with Demand Generation to build the narrative of product campaigns that drive the demand, adoption and success of Mission products
- Create product positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers the success of our sales team
- Support the Sales teams by developing sales enablement materials, and conducting trainings on product positioning
- Work with Product to determine the appropriate pricing strategy for Mission products
- Create buyer personas that provide structure and insight for the company
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product to develop product marketing campaigns and sales enablement material that present our product’s value proposition in a way that clearly articulates how we solve our buyers’ problems
- Speak at company events to promote the story of our products
- Develop product marketing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Product Marketing in B2B organization with at least 2 years of experience in a market-facing role
- 3+ years experience technical copywriting
- Experience with public speaking, including at customer facing webinars or events
- Experience developing product marketing materials (datasheets, product slides, website product pages, videos, etc)
- Comfortable using product development tools and marketing automation and analytic software
- Extremely proficient with Google Suite, especially Google slides and Google sheets and/or Microsoft Office (Excel or PowerPoint)
- Experience with data analysis in Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets and perform basic functions)
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or in the cloud market (preferred)
- Pragmatic Institute Certified (PMC) (preferred)
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification (required within 1 year of hire)
