In this brand-new role, we’re looking for a skilled Product Marketing Manager to bring our issuing products to market. The ideal candidate will have experience partnering closely with product, design and engineering counterparts, leading successful go-to-market initiatives, and bringing voice of customer insights back to R&D teams to fundamentally improve the customer experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (including Product, Commercial, Communications and broader Marketing team) at each stage of the product lifecycle to drive growth, from early discovery through to public launch and beyond
  • Create alignment on the issuing product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Craft go-to-market strategies and partner with Marketing on marketing efforts to drive adoption and growth of issuing products among merchants
  • Develop and leverage a deep understanding of merchants’ challenges, industry trends, and the competitive issuing landscape and solution offerings to incorporate into product development, go-to-markets, and sales enablement
  • Craft core value propositions and product messaging for our issuing products that target specific verticals, personas, regions or competitors and enable Sales and Marketing to sell into key segments
  • Identify opportunities for great customer storytelling to showcase the value and benefits of Checkout.com’s issuing products for our clients
  • Use both qualitative and quantitative measures to identify growth opportunities and bring the customer perspective to our Product teams
  • Provide important tactical support such as developing marketing assets, sales materials, internal enablement and attending planning and review meetings 

About you:

  • Approximately 4+ years of product marketing experience working across API-based products and/or in a SaaS environment; experience in FinTech/ payments is a distinct advantage though not a hard requirement
  • Strong entrepreneurial and self-starter skills, comfortable in a high-growth environment and navigating ambiguity to make decisions and drive wider delivery without getting lost in detail
  • Based in London or proximate timezone preferred, you'll work together with the issuing team in Paris, Tallinn and beyond
  • Experience in delivering operational and go-to-market plans that require input and execution from multiple teams
  • Experience in developing high-impact value propositions, positioning and messaging for target verticals, personas and regions
  • Experience in creating effective Sales materials to engage Enterprise-level accounts
  • Experience in influencing and driving strategic directions with a cross-functional team
