In a few words:

Figures was created in October 2020 by Virgile, who was fed up of not having relevant compensation market data for the start-up market in France, which led to endless discussions, negotiations, and therefore tons of internal inequality.

Joined by Bastien quickly after, we first tackled this issue by creating the first compensation benchmark product for start-ups & scale-ups in France.

That’s when Figures was born and since then, we raised funds and passed the 300 clients milestone. We can safely say that we found our Product Market Fit and grow fast across Europe and beyond. 

In the past few months, we’ve worked with clients like BackMarket, Urban Sports Club or Too Good To Go and we are on a mission to: 

• Become the number one Compensation benchmark product for start-ups & scale-ups in Europe.  
• Expand our product from pure benchmarking to compensation management as a whole.

💼 Role

At Figures, we're creating a brand new product category (Compensation Management). On top of that, compensation is a tough topic to crack. 

This is why we absolutely need a Product Marketing expert: someone that will ensure that our product is used to the maximum of its capabilities and its value proposition well understood!

Your missions :

• Get to know our user's needs and preferences by conducting research as well as gathering market insights in close collaboration with product managers and designers.
• Build personas and competitive analysis, especially for our new markets.
• Determine the product positioning and messaging framework 
• Evangelize product updates externally and internally by educating our customers, leads and our teams
• Overseeing the production of sales and marketing materials related to our product
• Develop customer feedback and input to the product team.
• Plan and market feature launches 
• Develop the Go to market strategy and ensure its implementation across all teams: Sales, Product, Marketing
• Measure impact and deep dive into business and adoption analytics (PMF) to develop data-driven long-term strategies

Must have for the role:

• Fluent in English
• Intermediate to Senior in this position (3-6 years of experience)
• 3+ years of work experience in a Product Marketing or a Product Management role, ideally in a B2B company
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills
• You can leverage data and insights to support your decision-making 
• You're great at project management and stakeholders coordination

Nice to have:

Any of those would be major pluses:

• Sense of humour 
• An experience working with HR personas 
• A prior experience in SaaS and startup is a plus
• Hands-on: someone who is still hands-on or who is willing to be hands-on for the time being.

Who you’ll be working with (and from where)

Our headquarter is based in Paris, where the whole team meets once a month. We are a remote-friendly company and you can work from home or in our spacious office in the coolest part of Paris. 

Remote working experience is a bonus, since our team is distributed in Europe. But if you’ve never worked from home, that’s fine too.

📣 At Figures, our compensation philosophy is to be, compared to similar companies (size/funding):

1. At market when it comes to compensation (we target Figures’ market median for each role), taking into consideration each candidate’s experience and location (we adjust compensation based on our Global Salary Convertor’s cost of labor)
2. Above market when it comes to equity (we allocate 14% of our company towards employee grants, which is considerably above market practices)
3. Above market when it comes to benefits (health insurance, leave days, etc.)

👉🏼 The estimated package (total cash) for this role, for someone Paris based, is between 50 000€ and 63 000€ (+ equity) based on the profile we have in mind. Of course that could be adjusted for any outlier profile!
