Dotfile is building the trust infrastructure for the internet economy. We help fintech and regulated businesses verify their customers and protect themselves against financial, reputational or legal risk.
We are at an exciting time where more complex, high-risk transactions shift online: lending, crypto, gig-economy, etc. Unfortunately, the complexity and fragmentation of the identity landscape makes it difficult to safely onboard users at scale.
This is why we created the all-in-one orchestration platform for KYC and KYB. We are natively integrated with leading financial databases, business registries, AML providers and fraud prevention APIs, that our clients can mix-and-match to screen their individual or business customers in more than 200 jurisdictions.
Thanks to us, companies can increase conversion rates, approve customers faster and launch new markets or products with limited developments while reducing risk and strengthening compliance.
We have global ambitions from Day 1 and set-out to develop the modern onboarding cockpit that will power the next generation of innovative business models. We were born out of the startup studio eFounders in 2021 and since raised a Seed round with Serena Capital, Kima Ventures, and operators from companies like Spendesk, Swan or Aircall.
The Position
As the first member of the Marketing team, you will report directly to our CEO and have broad impact on our go-to-market strategy. You will take the lead on many key initiatives and shape the marketing function. You will also:
- Drive the overall marketing strategy, prioritize initiatives, measure impact, and allocate budget accordingly.
- Interview prospects and customers to develop an in-depth understanding of their pains and requirements. You will communicate this feedback to the broader team to inform product strategy and roadmap.
- Build, articulate and communicate the vision, positioning and value of our product to our clients and to the broader market.
- Support the production of high-quality contents such as blog posts, case studies, white papers, presentations and webinars designed to convey the value of Dotfile.
- Conduct research to become an industry expert at the forefront of current market trends. Work on competitive mapping and develop battle cards to empower the Sales team.
- You will be be an advocate for Dotfile and act as spokesperson when needed: conferences, trade-shows, webinars, etc.
- You will orchestrate product launches across different channels and own product copy, setting the right tone of voice, in line with our brand positioning.
About you
- Well-rounded product marketer, who wants to roll up the sleeves and is used to wearing multiple hats, with at least 3 years of experience in Product Marketing in B2B SaaS or Fintech
- Excellent writer and storyteller: you excel at crafting concise and impactful copy
- You are adaptable and thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment and are able to operate fluidly between the big-picture view and the details that matter. You’re able to juggle multiple projects and priorities and communicate and prioritize effectively.
- You are data and research oriented. You use data, research and insights to make recommendations and decisions about how to message and take products to market.

- 30 min intro call with Vasco, the CEO. You will get the opportunity to tell your story, learn about Dotfile vision and ways of working and ask any question you want
- 45 min follow up interview with the CEO focused on your past experiences
- 45 min interview with a member of the Product team
- Reference checks with past managers or colleagues
