Marketing at Brex

The Marketing team tells the Brex story, determines messaging and positioning, and translates our reimagined products and features into tangible customer benefits. Our marketers—across Brand, PMM, and Growth—are responsible for acquiring new customers and have a deep understanding of the business and the market. We’re a highly cross-functional team and partner most closely with the Product, Sales, Content, and Design teams to help our prospects and customers grasp how Brex is elevating finance and enabling businesses.

What You’ll Do

The Product Marketing Manager, Customer Insights will own the voice of customer (VoC) for the marketing team. You will lead third party research and drive internal data analysis to uncover trends and opportunities that inform our go-to-market strategy. You will build our collective understanding of competitive and adjacent offerings. You will work with the broader GTM organization to translate insights into marketing and sales plays that accelerate pipeline growth and customer conversion. You are obsessed with learning about the customer and figuring out exactly how to message and connect with them. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where everyday presents new challenges and opportunities. 

Responsibilities  

  • Invest in deeply understanding the customer; lead research and analyze sales & product data to validate or disprove internal hypotheses and build confidence in our messaging and positioning; own our ideal customer profile. 
  • Perform research, both qualitative and quantitative, to better understand our competitive landscape in terms of offerings, roadmaps, strategy, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and maintain competitive landscape content including competitive talking points, objection handling, and other assets to enable reps and marketers articulate the unique value of Brex.
  • Collaborate closer with our field productivity team to secure win/loss insights and develop recommendations to improve win rate. 
  • Support our customer advisory board program, circulating insights across product, marketing, and sales and empowering customers to more regularly share valuable perspectives & feedback.

What We Value

  • BA/BS degree
  • 3+ years in product marketing, customer insights, or a relevant go-to-market function
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated capabilities in interpreting data and qualitative info and distilling into actionable key takeaways.
