About the Role:

Transfix is on an exciting growth path, and building a best-in-class marketing team and marketing machine will be integral to hitting our ambitious goals. That’s why we’re looking for a driven Product Marketing Manager to join our passionate, scrappy, and incredibly collaborative marketing team.

Our Carriers (trucking companies and truck drivers) aren’t just a critical part of our customer base; they are the backbone of our economy. Transfix is on a mission to ensure that they can make the best living possible, all while driving sustainability, minimizing waste, and increasing output. 

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will support Carrier user engagement by partnering with design and product teams to best understand how new and existing features are being used and accepted. In this Role You Will:

  • Learn our product and features and own our product marketing strategy for our Carriers audience, including naming and positioning features
  • Partner with our Product and Creative teams to help develop the Carrier journey, determining how features will be positioned and how they will be brought to market
  • Translate what we learn about our Carriers from research into usable insights and apply them to product strategy and messaging around our product
  • Position and craft messaging for Transfix’s Carrier products, features, and services, and ensure adoption among internal and external audiences
  • Drive Carrier engagement and retention through product feature development and implementation of lifecycle marketing programs
  • Build asset toolkits that our teams can use to market our features in a consistent, repeatable way across all of our marketing channels
  • Identify trends in the industry and Transfix’s data to craft storytelling that will resonate with the press, customers, partners, and employees
  • Ideate and run creative, impactful campaigns that celebrate our incredible Carriers
  • Partner with teams to set goals and track the success of key launches
  • Design and manage customer surveys, and share findings with key stakeholders and leadership
  • Share qualitative and quantitative customer insights with product management to help inform our product roadmaps
  • Write content to support the positioning you’ve developed, including web pages, blogs, and sales collateral

You’re an Excellent Fit for this Role if You Bring:

  • 4+ years of related experience in marketing, product marketing, or product management, including at least 2 years of insights-driven go-to-market experience 
  • Strong organization and adaptability skills, with high-level attention to detail; you can manage interdependent, complex projects and keep various work-streams on track with little oversight or guidance
  • Strong business understanding and ability to prioritize and make trade-offs based on impact
  • The curiosity to take robust research insights and convert them into digestible, actionable solutions and compelling value propositions to solve customer challenges and pain points
  • History of running successful go-to-market (GTM) campaigns, including experience building, testing, and executing across customer segmentation, messaging, and positioning, for a variety of products, programs, or services
  • Strong grasp of marketing and advertising levers and programs, spanning all channels, both digital and physical
  • Scrappy, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude; but even as your head is down you’ve always got one eye up on the big picture.
  • You understand how to build trusting, meaningful relationships quickly
  • Ability to partner with and articulate your vision with a diverse range of stakeholders, supporting technical, creative, and more operational perspectives

  • This role is part of Transfix's fully-remote Marketing team, however we do have offices in New York, NY and Atlanta, GA that you are welcome to go to if you live nearby, and visit if you don't!
  • We are offering a market competitive salary depending on experience level, scope, and geographic location, which includes base salary, as well as Restricted Stock Units (equity) in Transfix.
