The Role

Product Marketing Manager, Insights is a newly created role at the company tasked with building the ‘curiosity engine’ that will feed sales, marketing and product with insights needed to validate the Amperity point of view. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing - Core,, the primary functions will be: 

  • Scoping and managing 3rd party research
  • Conducting 1st party research through conversations with customers, prospects, and end users of customer data technologies
  • Managing and consolidating feedback loops to derive insights. 
  • Contributing to the steering of outcomes across assets/tactics (e.g. marketing, enablement, AR) to properly reflect the brand strategy of Amperity

This role presents the opportunity to build something new with exposure across internal and external partners, and growth opportunities in a broader product marketing organization. 

Interesting Problems

  • Design and operate research initiatives for mission critical challenges facing go to market teams
  • Synthesize learnings and make strategic recommendations to guide informed business decisions on sales go to market, product roadmap, and response to competitive intelligence
  • Become the voice of the customer with an ‘always on’ insights mentality in the organization. Teams everywhere are hungry for the information you will source.
  • Cultivate relationships with the right vendors to gather and organize our market and competitive point of view.
  • Develop and manage internal feedback loop, and determine how new insights should be incorporated into strategic direction, and ensure consistent single source of truth across Amperity
  • Manage the Industry Analyst analysis submissions process by connecting with the right internal stakeholders and acting as the final editor before submission.

About You

  • Equivalent of 5+ years’ experience in program or project management, product marketing, competitive or market intelligence, or customer-orientated roles
  • 2+ years in a B2B role
  • Displays curiosity, enjoys learning and gathering new insights 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems, opportunities to gather information, formulate insights, and apply learnings to recommended outcomes and communicate to broader audiences
