Job description

Atlassian is looking for a curious, passionate Product Marketing Manager to join our Agile product marketing team and support top-of-funnel growth. You'll drive growth of Atlassian's flagship product, Jira Software, by finding new ways to get prospective customers in the door through our website, onboard them, and show them the value of the product quickly.

Get ready to be involved with multiple aspects of a prospective buyer's journey to Jira Software! You'll work to optimize the website experience, streamline the onboarding process, and ensure a user's "first impression" of product is one that leads to longterm usage. To be successful, you must be collaborative in nature and ready to partner with multiple teams across the business, including product, web, data & analytics, SEO, creative, and more.

What you'll be doing (a sample)

  • Understand Atlassian's role in the Agile space, research our market and users, and identify market opportunities for future growth
  • Build, develop, and execute campaigns from the bottom up (identify goals, risks, audience, messages, and tactics)
  • Optimize and experiment with our website to convert traffic into signups and rank for Google branded keywords
  • Help onboard signups to be successful in our products via emails, screens that guide users from website into product, and in-product messaging
  • Use customer and competitive research to influence product strategy and drive effective messaging
  • Tell authentic stories that inspire new audiences to try new products
  • Generate high-quality content for customers, evaluators, advocates, and channel partners including emails, blogs, webinar content, uses cases / customer stories, and more
  • Communicate the effectiveness and impact of your work to stakeholders an ongoing basis

About You:

  • You have 3-5+ years of product marketing experience
  • You have a data-oriented mindset and are thinking about how outcomes tie to team and business goals
  • Thrive in an ever-changing environment and embrace working on several different projects simultaneously
  • You vocalize when things are not going well - and recommend solutions
  • You're excited to dive into the world of agile software development practices
  • You have been responsible for creating, driving, and managing go-to-market strategies across a variety of channels - enablement, content, lifecycle marketing, community, etc.
  • You're a passionate, self-starter with a no bullshit, can-do attitude
  • You're a phenomenal communicator and writer, and cross-functional team player
  • You see the big picture across a large organization and have experience designing and rolling out GTM strategies from scratch
