The Role:

We are currently hiring for a Product Marketing Leader. This is a critical marketing role that will be responsible for driving high-level strategy and product adoption for Privacy & Security products at Mozilla. In this work, you will drive market landscape and consumer analyses, advise long-term business and product strategy, and bring products to market with compelling marketing activations. You’ll understand and advocate for user needs and launch thought-provoking and inspirational marketing programs.

To do this, you’ll build deep partnerships with product, design and engineering leadership, as well as cross-channel marketing partners to build a connection between product strategy and marketing strategy.

You are:

A customer-centric, analytical, creative, and results-oriented marketing leader who thrives in ambiguity and challenges the status quo! You have deep customer emotional intelligence and are adept with data and insights. You’re a strong and collaborative partner with the ability to translate across technical, data, and creative teams and motivate action with cross-functional partners. You can communicate strategies, results, and insights optimally, to all levels of the organization. You have a proven track record successfully leading through influence. You have successfully led and coached teams of marketers.

You will:

  • Develop and drive high-level marketing strategy for Mozilla’s Privacy & Security products, based on a strong understanding of the audience, driven marketplace and industry trends.
  • Ensure the voice of the user is consistently heard and incorporated into the thinking of products, brand, and creative concepts at the highest levels.
  • Lead the development of marketing plans that bring our products to life for consumers with innovative, creative, and effective plans.
  • Work collaboratively and cross functionally across product, design, engineering and research leadership to influence our product direction and lead how we bring new products and features to market.
  • Analyze market, competitive, and audience insights to deliver practical recommendations to acquire, educate and retain customers.
  • Shape positioning and messaging that resonates with these audiences at every stage of the customer lifecycle.
  • Engage and activate marketing channel partners to bring these marketing strategies to life.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align on the strategy and resourcing needs to deliver on Privacy & Security growth plans.
  • Operate as a leader on the product marketing team, lifting the capabilities of the team as a whole.

Your Professional Profile:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in consumer product marketing, preferably with consumer SaaS and/or subscription products
  • Expert in marketing with demonstrated ability to drive product adoption and engagement.
  • Track record of effectively delivering multiple innovative projects in a very fast-moving environment, strong project management experience.
  • Problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with peers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Domain experience in consumer privacy and/or security products preferred
