Marketing at Brex

The Marketing team tells the Brex story, determines messaging and positioning, and translates our reimagined products and features into tangible customer benefits. Our marketers—across Brand, PMM, Content, and Performance—are responsible for acquiring new customers and have a deep understanding of the business. We’re a highly cross-functional team and partner most closely with the Product, Sales, BD, and Design teams to help our prospects and customers grasp how we can help them reach their full potential.

What you’ll do

The Product Marketing team is looking for a part-time contractor (30-35 hours/month) to help manage the Monthly Product Release process. Brex continues to innovate and launch exciting new products and features to our customers. To ensure each launch is successful, we have built out a process to manage and organize this which we have coined the Monthly Product Release (MPR). The goal of this process is to identify what is on the roadmap for the month ahead, prepare our cross-functional partners for the launch, and train and educate the GTM organization. 

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of a B2B launches (or transferable experience and a hunger to learn it), and is a masterful cross-functional collaborator, project manager, and effective communicator. 

Responsibilities

  • Build a calendar checklist to track and organize a monthly process with multiple stakeholders
  • Track rollout dates and supporting resources by communicating regularly with product owners and cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate deliverables with Product, Brand, and Operations teams
  • Summarize technical documentation and customer pain points in ways that non-technical audiences can understand
  • Organize materials and visuals for monthly sales trainings on new capabilities
  • Produce digestible and relevant descriptions and visuals for anywhere between 5-25 new releases on a monthly basis
  • Recommend supporting sales collateral, as needed, for high impact releases

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail oriented, accurate, organized and able to set priorities
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Strong ability to craft a clear narrative and paint a vision that communicates and aligns teams

Bonus points

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Familiarity with financial concepts and Fintech industry
  • Technical writing experience
  • Experience managing product launches
  • Experience working with tools including but not limited to Figma, Jira, Looker, Slack, Google Apps, Salesforce, Monday.com
