ABOUT THE TEAM 🤝

We are looking to add an enthusiastic Product Marketing Associate to our credit card team in either our Washington, DC or New York hubs. As a core member of a small, but mighty team, you’ll be assisting our Product Marketing Manager with improving our relationship with cardholders—whether that’s by optimizing our communication strategy, assisting with user research, working with our customer experience team to take action on user feedback, or writing helpful FAQs and help articles. You’ll be an integral user advocate for our credit card team. 

Although the credit card team is new here at Rocket Money, we’re a well-oiled machine that’s growing fast and building fast. We’re testing, iterating, and collaborating constantly, eager to build a credit card program that genuinely helps our cardholders take control of their credit. 

IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL

• Optimize our user-facing communications (emails + push notifications), working closely with our CRM team to prioritize new tests and come up with ideas for new campaigns.
• Own competitive analysis, tracking new credit cards and features/benefits in an exponentially growing industry
• Produce, optimize, and update help articles + FAQs, coordinating with our Customer Experience team
• Partner with User Research to track and report on user sentiment, coming up with ideas for new research initiatives
• Develop a strong partnership with the Customer Experience team to track common issues
• Own issue resolution and escalation
• Craft marketing copy for new promotions
• Track asset approval timelines and deadlines with our compliance partners
• Assist with writing documentation for internal communication and project tracking

ABOUT YOU 🦄

You bring a powerful mix of creativity and structure to our team, simultaneously being able to write engaging copy for marketing campaigns and build a highly-organized project management plan. You have a passion for strong, clear, and empathetic communication - both as a user-first marketer and as a cross-team collaborator. And best of all, you’re naturally curious - you love to learn from others and collaborate with all sorts of different teams.

• 2-3+ years of experience in B2C/lifecycle marketing, product marketing, or user-centric copywriting  
• Strong writing and communication skills, including copywriting and cross-team communications
• Strong organizational skills - you thrive on deadlines and find joy in a well-organized to-do list
• An independent working style - you enjoy autonomy and want to put your own style on your work
• A user-first mentality, always advocating and finding ways to optimize and personalize the user experience
• Passion for our mission: improve the financial health of millions of people.
• Some experience with A/B testing and analytics
• Prior CRM/email marketing experience a huge plus
• Knowledge of the credit card space not required

Additional information: Minimum salary of $75,000/year + bonus + benefits
