Every day, the world gets more digital thanks to tens of millions of developers building the future faster than ever. But with exponential growth comes exponential risk, as outnumbered security teams struggle to secure mountains of code. This is where Snyk (pronounced “sneak”) comes in. Snyk is a developer security platform that makes it easy for development teams to find, prioritize, and fix security vulnerabilities in code, dependencies, containers, and cloud infrastructure — and do it all right from the start. Snyk is on a mission to make the world a more secure place by empowering developers to develop fast and stay secure.

Our Product Marketing team at Snyk is responsible for launching Snyk’s new products, deciding the product’s positioning and messaging, and ensuring salespeople and customers understand it. The Competitive Intelligence team performs research and helps build materials to support Product Marketing as well as the Product Management and Sales teams.

As a Product Marketing & Competitive Research Co-op, you’ll work closely with the other members of our Product Marketing team to learn the ins, outs, and benefits of a competitive intelligence program and how Snyk stays ahead of our competitors in the cybersecurity space.

You’ll spend your time:

  • Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing sales data to help identify trends & actionable insights for our customer Win-Loss program
  • Gathering competitive insights on relevant vendors in the application & cloud security industries through the SageTap tool
  • Building relationships with our sales team while working with them to identify ideal customer candidates for our win-loss program
  • Reading analyst market reports & identifying relevant insights for our Market Intelligence team
  • Learning how to use Salesforce, Slack, Seismic, and SageTap
  • Working on ad hoc competitive projects, as time permits

What you’ll need:

  • Current enrollment at Northeastern University with a graduation date of 2025 or 2026
  • Current and future work authorization in the United States
  • An interest in a career in product marketing
  • Advanced understanding of Google Sheets & Excel
  • Previous marketing co-op or internship experience
  • Enjoyment in collaborating and working in a team environment
  • Ability to collect and analyze data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • To embody our company values - Care Deeply, One Team, Ship It, and Ridiculously Easy to Work With

We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech. If you like the sound of this role but are not totally sure whether you’re the right person, do apply anyway!
