About the role

We are looking for a Product Marketer with experience building frameworks and owning product marketing strategy at a high-growth startup. You will be responsible for driving product differentiation strategy & execution end-to-end. You will also be responsible for building and nurturing a product management practice at MetaMap over the next 2-4 quarters.

You will be partnering closely with product & sales teams to develop & implement messaging & conversion strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first and most senior member of our product marketing function, and to truly define the role and build the team at MetaMap.

Key responsibilities

  • Sales enablement: Develop content strategy with our revenue team and develop assets needed to educate and influence our prospects and customers, including white papers, case studies, customer testimonials, tutorials, and competitive intelligence.

  • Work closely with pre-sales and customer success to measure and improve our go-to-market effectiveness: Sales training, sales stages, changes in customer expectations, etc.

  • Go-to-market programs:

    • Manage launches for product updates.

    • Update and maintain features, bundles, and solutions

    • Work with product and sales on pricing

  • Own and implement strategy for merchant communication to drive product engagement.

  • Increase sales velocity as measured by improved conversion rates on lead to demo and demo to close by the end of their first 90 days.

  • Create templates the Sales team can use for sales calls, events, outbound, and more

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience at a high-growth B2B startup. Previous ownership of product marketing, including research and messaging frameworks

  • Fluency in English & Spanish.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics in simple terms

  • Experience in product marketing, including product launches and campaign design

  • Proven track record of success in high growth start-up

  • Ability to prioritize and navigate the chaos

  • Experience in partnering with demand and sales teams
