Your mission

We save over 3.5 meals every second, all thanks to our millions of daily users. So it is vitally important that we continue to create a product that consumers love and a product that brings strong and ever increasing value to our partners - as a Staff Product Manager, you will be in the heart of that.

Reporting to our VP of Product Troels Støvring, you will join our established Product Organisation that is overall responsible for driving the product development and optimisation of the entire Too Good To Go product portfolio and consists of Product Managers, Data/Insights analysts and Product/UX Designers. 

Responsibilities:

Product Managers plays a pivotal role in our organisation in terms of steering our product innovation efforts and we believe a strong Product Manager needs to possess and develop a diverse set of competencies to succeed: Product Execution (the ability to build exceptional products), User Insights (the ability to understand and deliver on customer needs), Product Strategy (the ability to drive business impact via product innovation) and Influencing People (the ability to orchestrate and steer a cross-functional team to deliver). The specific responsibilities in a Product Manager role are:   

  • Defining product strategy and developing clear product roadmaps across our consumer/partner focused product areas to improve the current offering or drive new innovation.
  • Leveraging various data (consumer data, market data, customer and partner feedback etc.) to make product recommendations and identify new opportunities
  • Use business and consumer KPI’s to communicate progress and performance within the product domain
  • Orchestrating and project manage one or more cross-functional team(s) working on deliveries as defined in product roadmaps   
  • Collaborating with the wider business, to understand consumer and/or partner pain points to solve, both globally and locally in our markets. 
  • Analysing workflows and process to look for ways to optimise and drive efficiencies
  • Proactively develop the Product domain, and develop recommendations and strategies for how to develop the area to deliver on business ambitions
  • Are in the driver's seat in making recommendations to the senior leadership team and managing their feedback and push-back - leveraging consumer/partner data, market conditions and customer evaluations.

Requirements/Experiences

  • Multi-year experience in a Product Management role is preferred - ideally within a marketplace/ technology field. Management consulting experience will also be considered as a plus
  • Comfortably switches between strategy thinking (e.g. mid-long tenure developing product strategy plans) and short term execution  
  • Proven analytical skills and quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to manage and understand the business needs 
  • Previous experience with app development in a global marketplace with many languages and local considerations
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technology and consumer/partner needs  - knows how to work together with highly technical people like Designers & Engineers on iterations and product testing to discover solutions that tackle pain points and meet end-user needs.
  • Customer-focussed, with experience actively conducting user research, testing, and optimisation. Has a talent for analysing market data to identify new insights. Generally aware of the importance of using product analytics to improve overall success.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, knows how to interact and work with a diverse group of people and competencies
  • Comfortable working in a high pace changing environment where ideas and knowledge are openly shared.
  • You bring energy, passion, ownership and a relentless drive to move the needle on the impact of your domain.
  • That you work with a growth mindset and is constantly looking for ways to improve and optimise
  • The ability to mobilise and motivate your closest team and key stakeholders to believe in your plan and your vision for your domain.
