The Subscriptions R&D team oversees the entire user journey on Spotify and ensures we engage with people in innovative ways, every step of the way. Our team grows Spotify’s audience by finding future listeners around the world and delivering the right value to them, at the right time.
ARC is a Studio in the Subscriptions mission, and our mission is to help listeners get the most out of what’s available to them, while enabling effective communications at scale, maximizing revenue, and guardrailing for retention. The close collaboration between product development, product design, engineering, and insights enables us to efficiently create meaningful features and services for millions of people around the world, resulting in joyful, long-lasting relationships with Spotify. Conversion is a Product Area in ARC focusing on the conversion user journey through paid product discovery and consideration surfaces, as well as activation and retention surfaces and levers to ensure our users enjoy the values they unlock in the tiers they join. As a Product Manager in ARC/Conversion, you will have the opportunity to have a significant impact on Spotify’s sustainable growth by helping new and existing users discover and convert to efficiently unlock the value .
What You'll Do
- Build features which delight our users across our existing Premium user experience including account management, migrations, and upsells
- Define and drive product vision, strategy and metrics and own the squad level roadmap in one of the highest investment areas for paid products
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, product insights and business partners and collaboratively with other product teams to identify and drive opportunities for improved revenue and user experience
- Create a healthy and productive environment in your team through honesty, accountability, empathy and inclusivity.
Who You Are
- 4+ years product management experience in a user-centric business, preferably within ecommerce and/or subscriptions
- You have deep empathy for customer needs and insights, coupled with an intuitive grasp of commercial opportunities
- You have experience designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests
- You care deeply about the user experience and have extensive knowledge in design principles, U/X, quantitative and qualitative research
- You can synthesize a strategy, build a product roadmap, and are dedicated at performing to achieve your business goals
- You are comfortable facilitating planning and decision-making across several teams and know how to encourage and empower teams to get things done
- You have sound business judgment as well as ability to analyze qualitatively, quantitatively, problem-solve, and prioritize
- You have strong written and oral communications skills, and can clearly communicate to technical and non-technical partners at all levels
Where You'll Be
- Hybrid role based in our New York office (average 2 to 3 days a week)
The United States base range for this position is $112,298 - $160,425 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
