About the team

Connect builds infrastructure for the world’s leading platforms and marketplaces to incorporate payments into their products. Connect has been at the forefront of Stripe’s growth due to the power of its offering, which enables our users to distribute Stripe’s payment processing directly to their sellers and merchants. As Stripe grows its suite of product offerings beyond payments, Connect will unlock a new phase of growth for Stripe by enabling our platforms to distribute all of Stripe’s products to their end users.

What you’ll do

As the Product Manager for Platform Experiences, you will own defining the right end-to-end user journey and experiences for our Connect platforms and marketplaces (“platforms”). Specifically, you will set the vision and roadmap for platform onboarding and activation on Stripe, the dashboard experiences enabling platforms to manage the health and status of their sub merchants on Stripe, and the strategy for when and how Stripe should integrate with other third party tools used by our platform users when running their Stripe business.

Responsibilities

• Develop the long-term vision and strategy for the platform experiences team, prioritize accordingly, and create an execution roadmap

• Deeply understand our platform users’ needs by spending time with platforms, sales, and support, and by observing patterns/trends across their feedback and the marke

• Set the pace, prioritization and execution for the team

• Understand the alternative solutions and required integrations for platforms to be successful providing their sub merchants Stripe products

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Operations 

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. However, even if you don’t meet every requirement, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus.

Minimum requirements

• Brings 5+ years of experience in a product management role

• Has partnered closed with engineers and designers to build products (especially front end surfaces) and complex systems at scale

• Has an obsession with product quality and an eye for design

• Has the ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility

• Brings a desire for continuous product improvement and can optimize for shipping a portfolio of small, medium, and large releases

• Has strong written and verbal communication skills with a talend for precise articulations of customer problems

Preferred requirements

• Experience with B2B product management

• Strong business acumen and comfortable with complex ecosystem and system level problems
