About the team:

The Stocks team is responsible for improving our core stock and ETF trading business, with the goal of growing it 5x over the next 3 years. This includes everything from opening an account to discovering a stock, purchasing, and monitoring that investment both in mobile apps and on the web.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Partner with the design and engineering leaders to set the plan for improving stocks trading experience at Wealthsimple
Work on high business impact projects end-to-end
Guide and support a team of engineers to ensure a stable and smooth experience for our clients
Work closely with the leadership team including CPO, Head of Product, Head of Design, and VP of Engineering
Help elevate the Product Management practice at Wealthsimple and create an inclusive and supportive team culture.

Skills we are looking for:

A multi-year track record of building and shipping products that customers love
A shipping mentality. We don't believe in spending forever analyzing and debating. The best way to validate something is to ship it — so let's ship it, and improve it.
Ability to stay close with clients to collect feedback and data which can help with product improvements.
