We are looking for a Product Manager to join the team that builds Spotify for Artists, the destination for artists and their teams to understand their fans, learn, grow, and get paid. We give artists the insights and tools they need to connect with their fans and establish a meaningful career on their own terms.
In this role, you will help us increase our impact on the music industry by evolving our foundational understanding of the needs of artists & fans, tackling complex problems in behavioral segmentation, developing frameworks to measure and communicate to artists the value of building a fanbase, and building products for artists to reach their fans and for fans to support and interact with their favorite artists.
Who you are:
- Experienced product manager in the user-facing data and analytics space.
- A creative problem solver who understands how to ship truly exciting experiences through data driven experimentation.
- User and data-focused. You are constantly looking to hone your instincts through user feedback and data insight. You understand the role and importance of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
- Able to convert insights into useful monetization strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to build empathy with users and build user centric products
- Proven track record working with ambiguous questions, breaking them down into concrete work streams.
What you'll do:
- We’re looking for a Product Manager to build products that drive artist engagement with their fan base, resulting in Artists deeply understanding fans, having actionable insights to better grow their fan base and achieve a sustainable living from their art.
- We would like to create stronger connections between artists and fans. As such, we are looking for a product manager with experience building two sided marketplaces.
- We believe data is important to empower artists and bring high value, personalized offerings to fans. As such, we are looking for product managers with experience building products that use machine learning
- We are looking for a product manager to identify opportunities and build impactful products in close collaboration with Tech, Design, Product Insights, and Marketing
- Define overall product vision, strategy, metrics for your product; evangelize them with partners across the company.
- Grow a product from inception to adoption at scale.
- Build a roadmap to drive real value for Artists, Fans and Spotify with milestones for success inclusive of discovery, measurement.
- Communicate results and recommendations to partners across the company, including technical and non-technical audiences.
- Learning the technology that powers Spotify for Artist tools and collaborating with the Tech team to facilitate trade offs between tech debt and new feature work
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to evangelize product strategy and influence successful go to market.
