Job Overview:

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Revenue Growth product team. In this role, you will lead the efforts to build a personalized and delightful discovery experience where learners can find products to meet their learning, with a specific emphasis on our premium credentials, such as  Degrees.

You will have a direct impact on increasing consumer revenue and degree recruitment goals by setting the vision for how each consumer segment discovers content throughout their lifetime; and scaling the discovery and nurture experience for high consideration products, such as Degrees. 

The growth and personalization Product Manager will own the user-facing consumer discovery experience including search, recommendations, onboarding, develop new  discovery levers for retention, and scale discovery mechanisms for merchandising stackable credentials to nurture degree seeking learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the roadmap and strategy for product discovery across the premium product portfolio (Degrees, University Certificates, Post-Graduate Diplomas, etc.) to increase interest, applicants, and retention
  • Test and optimize discovery & nurture of the premium product portfolio including: stackable credentials, degrees, post graduate diplomas, university certificates
  • Build a delightful experience that accommodates needs of different customer segments and connects them to a range of products from professional certificates to stackable credentials and degrees 
  • Develop scalable strategies to introduce and promote new product categories
  • Collaborate closely with teams across learner experience, consumer, marketing and degree recruitment  to ensure we’re optimizing our efforts across our entire ecosystem of products
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, machine-learning, data science and user research to manage timelines and balance frequent product iterations with bigger bets

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of product management experience; some familiarity with ML, recommender systems, architecture and experience working with data scientists.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A/B testing and multivariate testing experience
  • Extremely data-driven, with experience using a combination of quantitative as well as qualitative research methods to prioritize and validate ideas
  • Proven track record of collaborating and influencing across and product, design and marketing  teams with written and oral communication skills
  • Highly analytical with demonstrated history of breaking down complex problems
  • User empathy - Ability to understand and speak in terms of user value propositions and creatively inspire users to try the product 
  • Proven collaboration skills - Ability to manage complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way.
