We’re looking for a Product Manager with a background in developing consumer-facing, mobile-first applications. This person will co-lead our efforts in building the best-of-class platform to service our residents, on-site property management team, and asset management team. You will work closely with engineering, design and cross-functional teams to build products and new experiences on behalf of our users.
The Product Manager will define, own, prioritize, and deliver product solutions that bring business value.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Prioritize across a large plate of deliverables and focus the team’s execution power on the most business-critical problems
- Deeply understand the users, their pain points, and how they use the productInvent simple process solutions and durable product solutions that are situationally appropriate
- Define, own, and deliver business-level goals and key results
- Create generalizable solutions to ambiguous problems, and outline the solutions via clear and executable product requirements
- Be a highly productive team member who will work with others in the team, striving to stay a few steps ahead of the market, anticipating market opportunities, and focusing on delivering an exceptional userexperience
- Set a product roadmap for the resident app as we expand into this adjacent capability
Ideal Background
- A minimum of 5 years experience working with a high-growth tech company building consumer-facing, mobile first products
- Technically-minded and understands the costs & tradeoffs in building enterprise-grade software solutions
- Practices the 80/20 rule of speed over perfection
- Comfortable in agile teams managing user story boards, with an emphasis on creating, prioritizing, and testing high impact product features
- Has experience formulating and driving a focused product vision, and owning the narrative with leadership, users, and partners leveraging broad industry knowledge and extensive data analysis
- Comfortable using tools such as Figma to design and share user journeys
- Strong analytical (data-driven) and technical acumen along with strong business sense that guides ROI based prioritization
- Experience developing product(s) from zero to first release and beyond
- Experience negotiating with technical partners and other service providers
- Appreciation for the regulatory landscape that surrounds payments
- Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience with multi-family property management software is nice to have
