Provi is innovating the 240-billion dollar alcohol industry—do you want to be part of something game-changing?We were a hungry team in 2016 when we started and we’re still a hungry team, living our values—Host, Serve, Deliver and Celebrate—every day. We make sure that as the company grows, our people grow too and we’d love to have you on board.

Frequently cited statistics show that women and underrepresented groups apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. But guess what? No one ever meets 100% of the qualifications. Trust your experience and apply!

As a Product Manager at Provi, you will be part of a team of engineers, designers, and product managers all working to build the simplest way to buy and sell alcohol in the beverage industry. This role will be solving problems related to check-in/checkout, user authentication, detailed pages, and cart. If you are naturally curious, ambitious and empathetic, then Provi is looking for you.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of engineers, designers, and other product managers to define, prototype, and launch innovative solutions that meet the needs of customers -- retailers, alcohol distributors, and suppliers -- and business goals in scalable ways
  • Think holistically about your product area of focus. With input and context from other product teams and business stakeholders, own roadmap-building, prioritization, and execution.
  • Keep the user problem that you’re solving top of mind -- and ensure that the rest of the organization is as well. Intake of user feedback -- both qualitative (user research studies, surveys, and focus groups) and quantitative (onboarding funnels, usage trends) -- to determine new feature sets and iterations on existing functionality
  • Be accountable for outcomes, not output.  Understand the business opportunity, the ROI of what you’re proposing, and the impact of what you’ve built. Communicate that impact to your team and the broader organization.
  • Collaborate daily with engineering, design, and operational leaders to build amazing and thoughtfully planned experiences
  • Own the execution and excellence of your product area
  • Lead with empathy
  • Above all strive to make the Provi team, business, and product great!

What we hope to see in your experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the execution of tech-related projects
  • 1 + year of marketplaces and commerce-related products, specifically (checkout, cart, user authentication, user sign in and detailed product pagers )
  • User-facing experiences and the underlying APIs and algorithms that power them
  • Proven track record of getting things done and done well with lots of examples of projects you've spearheaded
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making experience
  • Amazing written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity in an environment of accountability
What you can do at Provi:
