Product management at Lyft leads the integration of engineering, data science, and design to achieve the company’s vision for reinventing transportation. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and passionate product manager to innovate and execute across a rapidly growing, fast-paced company and industry from our San Francisco headquarters.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and passionate Product Manager to innovate and execute on our Prebook, bundles & repeat rides product line. This will include executing on new recurring trips products for different use cases (Airports, Commute, Social etc). You’ll own the user journey to build convenient and delightful reservation experiences to help users fulfill the needs of their entire journey seamlessly and build amazing. You will start with focus on reliability and expand to improving affordability in the long term. You’ll work with a cross functional team of engineers, scientists, designers, product operations, policy & marketing teams. If successful, this product line will connect value across Rideshare, TBS & Fleet offerings. You’ll be responsible for building amazing customer facing products and driving critical business goals for the vertical. You will own a significant revenue line product and future growth engine for the company.

Rider Offerings PMs: Operating model

  • Be the GM: Own both strategy & execution for the business vertical
  • Put the customer first: Be extremely customer centric and bring in empathy/learnings daily
  • Be dangerous: Have sufficient breadth across rider, driver, marketplace, app teams
  • Bring everyone along: Have ability to work across cross functional & business teams

Responsibilities:

  • Product Experience: Minimum 5+ years of product management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them
  • Leadership Experience: Prior experience setting and delivering on a strategy you crafted, where you were accountable for the outcomes
  • Data-savvy: you find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to use this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis
  • Technically proficient: you have collaborated with engineers in developing the technical architecture of the products you have built.
  • Strategic: you can craft a coherent product vision, multi-year strategy and quarterly roadmap that your team and the business rallies behind
  • Business-minded: you are passionate about building businesses, not features. You not only own the user metrics but also own and optimize business performance metrics

Experience:

  • "Spidey-sense" product instincts and an ability to balance user and business impact
  • Strong background in analyzing and using data to inform decisions
  • You handle chaos, ambiguity and complexity, in a detailed, organized way
  • Clear, concise, and thorough written and oral communication skills
  • Prior experience in e-commerce and marketplaces
  • Experience starting/scaling a successful startup is a plus
