Product Manager

The role

We are looking for a Product Manager to join Plum in the London office. You’ll be expected to deeply understand how users think about money, get into the challenges they face when it comes to thinking about wealth and build features that align to Plum's strategy and vision, all the while grounded in solving crucial consumer challenges. This role will take on experience for some of our existing investments and savings products and support driving new 0-1 possibilities.

In this role you will

• Be an execution powerhouse and will work closely with engineers, operations, designers, marketers and other PMs to ship material improvements and new features to our users. 
• Work with a team of talented product-minded engineers to achieve a common growth goal.
• Conduct market and competitor research to ensure Plum has a market leading product.
• Regularly speak to customers to bring forth new ideas and possible initiatives to your Group PM and leadership team.
• Have a high attention to detail and ensure our customers can fulfil all crucial actions  (deposit, invest, sell, withdraw) and ensure data sanity on the platform, thereby improving product quality and ensuring we’re solving crucial consumer challenges.
• Leverage your creativity to work with our PMs in the Wealth domain to launch game changing new products that help our users get closer to and achieve their wealth goals!

Ideally you’re someone who

• Has experience building a mobile consumer fintech product/s across UK and Europe
• Are a finance enthusiast, with a background in the industry 
• Is adept at simplifying complex trade-offs and taking the organisation along on prioritisation across a bunch of different types of problems
• Is a self starter and can navigate through sticky situations, knowing there is always support and a team to lean on :)
• Are able to manage a team of engineers, speak their language, getting deep into implementation and able to communicate business needs in a constructive & timely way.
• Are able to transmit your enthusiasm to your team and make sure you are all working effectively towards your goal.
• Are scrappy and energised by looking for smarter ways to deliver value to our users more efficiently
• Value data led thinking and can ground hypotheses and measure impact in numbers
• Are excited to work in a startup already disrupting the financial industry and see it grow
