Hey 👋 I’m Edd –Product Delivery Manager at Pinpoint.

We’re a high-growth, bootstrapped HR-Tech start-up building and selling software that helps in-house recruitment teams attract, hire, and onboard the right talent. Today, we have a strong foundation in place, with a mature product, strong product-market fit, and happy customers.

We care deeply about our product experience being exceptional. You only need to look at the reviews on Capterra or G2 to know that we’ve built a platform that people love and that has gained significant market share. This success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team.

To date, our product has been built by an extremely talented set of engineers and designers, each taking on some of the responsibilities of product management. However, our team and product are growing fast, and we need to ensure that our experts can focus on their areas of expertise while continuing to deliver features and initiatives on time and with high quality. That’s why we are looking for a Product Manager.

Before we dive into the detail, here are a few things that might make you say “hell, yeah” or “hell, no”:
  • This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. Our headquarters is based in Jersey, UK, and we have a distributed remote team of 70 members spanning the UK and the U.S.
  • You’ll be joining a team of 18, primarily consisting of engineers and designers. We operate in squads, with several dedicated to feature delivery. You’ll work closely with our feature squads, specifically with an Engineering and Design Lead, to deliver various components of our platform ecosystem.
  • Given the size of our team, we have not yet adopted hyper-specialized roles. You’ll thrive in an environment where your day-to-day responsibilities cover many aspects of the Product Management spectrum.

About the Role:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Participating in ideation sessions, contributing ideas on how features should be built and function.
  • Leading project meetings, ensuring decisions are made, documented, and projects stay on track.
  • Collaborating with a design lead to plan client research calls, or conducting the calls yourself.
  • Writing and maintaining detailed feature documentation.
  • Planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Conducting demos for internal and external stakeholders to keep everyone updated on project progress.
  • Working with the Marketing team to develop plans for product launches and other campaigns.
This is a broad role, and our processes are continually evolving to meet the needs of the business. We place a strong emphasis on personal growth, so as the team expands, there will be opportunities for specialization and advance in the areas where you excel.

About You:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Manager, bringing broad experience and the ability to hit the ground running.
  • A deep passion for products and a keen instinct for great UX and UI design, with an understanding of what makes an ATS exceptional and a drive to continuously improve the user experience.
  • The ability to balance the needs of leadership, designers, and engineers to make decisions that benefit the product as a whole, prioritizing the best outcomes over the loudest voices.
  • Proficiency in using quantitative data, qualitative insights, and gut instinct to make informed decisions, knowing when to delve deeper and when to rely on experience to keep things moving.
  • Willingness to travel to London and the Channel Islands a few times a year for team events and project focus sessions, despite the company being remote-first.
  • Pride in one's work and high standards for quality, with a commitment to excellence that helps the company remain a strong competitor in the marketplace.
  • Experience in HR Tech or ATS is a plus, but a strong skill set and relevant roles are what set a candidate apart.

What We Offer:

We’re committed to being an exceptional workplace and company you are proud to work for. To that end, we offer some great benefits, including:
  • Gold-plated healthcare: Enjoy the best medical, dental, and optical coverage money can buy. We've got you and your family covered for all eventualities
  • Unlimited holidays: Everyone needs a healthy, happy, and productive life without restrictive holiday limits
  • Mental health support: Unlimited and immediate access to counseling for any employees via Spill.
  • Retirement matching: Competitive retirement plan with a generous matching contribution to help you achieve your long-term financial goals.
  • Flexible, remote working: Enjoy the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to find your most productive environment while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
  • Meaningful equity: You’ll contribute to the team's success and deserve to share in it. To that end, everyone on our team gets a meaningful equity allocation.
  • Generous paid parental leave:  To help support new parents in the workplace, we offer up to 16 weeks of paid leave.
  • Learning budget: Annual funds are made available to support both your personal and professional development.
  • Top-of-the-line equipment: We’ll set you up with the right tools to do your best work—starting with a MacBook Pro, 4K monitors, and the right software to get the job done.
  • A team that cares: You’ll be joining a team of intelligent, capable, and helpful people that want you to win, our clients to be wowed, and our business to grow.
