About Rippling

Rippling is the first way for businesses to manage all of their HR & IT —  payroll, benefits, computers, apps, and more — in one unified workforce platform.
By connecting every workforce system to a single source of truth for employee data, businesses can automate all of the manual work they normally need to do to make employee changes. Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can just click a button and set up a new employees' payroll, health insurance, work computer, and third-party apps — like Slack, Zoom, and Office 365 — all within 90 seconds.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $450M from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, and Sequoia—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes (#12 out of 500).

About The Role

The product team owns Rippling’s product direction, defining what to build in order to solve customer problems in a way that allows us to succeed. We do this by distilling insights from key stakeholders across the company user research, product-generated data, and competitive analysis. These insights allow us to prioritize the features that we work on, which we define end to end with our design and engineering counterparts, to create a product roadmap. As the features on this roadmap get developed, we partner with the appropriate teams to make sure that they are properly launched and are set up to be successfully sold, serviced, and supported. We iterate on these features using data and customer feedback to make sure that they fulfill and surpass the goals we had when we decided to build them.

The PEO team at Rippling is responsible for building and managing the PEO (Professional Employer Organization) product which bundles payroll, compliance, insurance, workers’ compensation, and additional back-office functions into a single offering. The combination of this multi-product offering and its aggregation of tens of thousands (soon to be hundreds of thousands!) of employees who are co-employed across hundreds of different clients makes the PEO one of Rippling’s most complex and high-value products. The PEO has seen incredible traction since its launch in December of 2020 and is just getting started, targeting new industries and diversifying its service offerings to meet the broad needs of our clients.

As a Product Manager on the PEO team, you will have direct ownership of driving Rippling’s PEO and Enhanced Services products. You will work to scale this 15 month-old platform to handle hundreds of thousands of co-employed Worksite Employees across thousands of companies, making sure that we’re able to deliver high-quality services to our clients in a tech-first, automated way with little reliance on manual operations. You’ll also be responsible for launching our new Enhanced Services product to provide clients with the flexibility of accessing the benefits of a PEO without the need for co-employment.You’ll work on projects that impact the highest priorities of our business, all while collaborating cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders. Product leaders influence teams outside of their own organization and deliver results that move the needle at the organizational level and impact company-wide goals
