About the Opportunity


We are seeking a driven Associate Product Manager - Payments to join the Everyday Banking domain at N26. As part of this team, you will contribute to redefining how people interact with their money daily. With a particular focus on user experience (UX), you will work on features and products that enhance payment experiences, combining user insights with agile development to create impactful solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Payments segment to identify and size opportunities, helping to create and prioritise the product roadmap in alignment with company objectives.

  • Partner with stakeholders across N26 to define team goals, develop an execution strategy, and ensure successful delivery.

  • Work closely with UX designers, engineers, and the Engineering Manager to plan, refine, and monitor the product backlog.

  • Analyze the impact of improvements or new features alongside the Data team to ensure data-driven decision-making.

  • Actively contribute to the segment's strategy and ensure alignment with the overarching company goals.

What you need to be successful:

  • 1+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally gained in fintech, banking, or other digital product environments.

  • Experience working closely with UX teams and a strong focus on understanding and improving the user experience.

  • Familiarity with user research methods and the ability to leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions.

  • Ability to prioritize and validate feature-level problems with a user-first mindset.

  • Strong analytical skills, with an understanding of customer and business KPIs to assess the impact of product decisions.

  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, engineers, and data analysts, to plan and execute product roadmaps.

  • STEM, business, or economics undergraduate degree. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate decisions clearly and build alignment among stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with agile product development and delivery processes.
