Customer Platform is looking for a product manager to lead our Onboarding Risk team. In this role you’ll be responsible for creating an efficient and engaging user experience for onboarding customers that both promotes growth and mitigates risk for Plaid. You will aim to strike a balance between enabling a seamless onboarding experience for Plaid customers, while mitigating risk to the overall business. This is a highly cross-functional role that provides a unique vantage point of the entire Plaid ecosystem. As the product leader on this team, you will build the tools we need to combat fraud and work with Risk Ops and Legal to define our policies and procedures to enable new types of businesses to gain access to Plaid. You will work closely with Growth, Core, Transfers, and International Product Teams to deliver a delightful onboarding experience and define shared goals to measure success.

  • Creating and evangelizing a product strategy, roadmaps, project plans, and clear product specifications that consistently deliver quality products
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, design, growth, legal, and risk ops assess cross-partner value, scope of effort, and priority of initiatives
  • Delivering customer value iteratively, managing products through various launch phases and releases, and ensuring high return on development capacity
  • Building scalable processes to consistently deliver quality, including reliable QA test planning and methodologies
