The Monetization Product team is looking for seasoned Product Managers to build ad experiences that deliver value to customers and delight Neighbors. In this role you will report to the Director, Product Management - Monetization.

The Impact You’ll Make

As the Product Manager for the Ads Format Team, you'll lead a cross-functional team of developers, designers, product marketers, and data scientists. Your primary objective will be to shape the roadmap for advertising formats across the Nextdoor platform. Collaborating closely with the design and user research teams, you'll gain insights into the requirements of both large-scale advertisers and local businesses, integrating these insights into the roadmap. Through your efforts, you'll champion the growth of businesses of all sizes by optimizing their advertising experiences on Nextdoor.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing the portfolio of ad formats catering to all customer segments.
  • Enhancing ad format performance and refining the advertising experience for Nextdoor users.
  • Pioneering the development of Nextdoor's search advertising product.
  • Streamlining customer workflows by implementing unified formats across different ad placements and leveraging automated ad creation tools.
  • Driving overall ad revenue growth for Nextdoor.

What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • 5+ years of experience in product management with BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent as a plus.   
  • High level of fluency within the ad tech space, previous experience with ad formats including video a plus. Deep familiarity working with brands, agencies and large media advertising customers.  
  • Excellent communication skills, autonomous worker, and good judgment
  • E2E owner of the product development life cycle from ideation to launch. 
  • Technical, comfortable delving into product, platform and implementation details. Engage with engineering beyond just product and user experience needs, and design scalable solutions.

The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $170,000 to $227,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.

We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.

Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. We have you covered! Nextdoor employees can choose between a variety of great health plans.
