About the team
Link helps Stripe’s users deliver frictionless and secure checkout experiences by auto-filling customers’ payment information. Link enables users to checkout in just 6 seconds, increasing conversion rates by over 7%. Link is available on hundreds of thousands of sites—customers can save payment info on any Link-supported site, and pay in one click across the network. Link is built into users’ existing payments integrations on Stripe, with no additional charges or fees.
About the role
As a Product Manager on the Link team, you will focus on growing the distribution of the Link Payment Method across Stripe’s merchant footprint. That will mean understanding the needs of Stripe’s merchants, from the smallest startup to the largest enterprise, prioritizing which segments to go after, and then building a mix of consumer and developer-facing features that then help them achieve their business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Behave as a player-coach, both deeply understanding the details of each product as well as guiding both PMs and other key cross-functional partners
- Collaboratively partner with other Stripe teams (engineering, design, legal, etc) early in the product development lifecycle and jointly shape product plans that lead with delightful experiences
- Be the voice of the end-customer and merchants both within Link and more broadly at Stripe
- Help set an ambitious roadmap for product development and expansion of Link’s capabilities
- Work closely with our customers, product teams, and cross functional partners to build a comprehensive and frictionless experience for our users
- Discover new parts of our business and lead them from nascent stages to maturity
- Continue to challenge our status quo, improving the existing products and adjusting the vision / direction as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Brings 5-10 years of experience in a product role (ideally working on a mix of consumer facing and enterprise facing products)
- Has an obsession over product quality and an eye for design, specifically an intuition for good user flows and user experiences
- Has experience working with external facing enterprise customers, including communicating a roadmap on sales calls, working closely with internal sales teams to close deals, and managing GTM prioritization.
- Has managed high-stakes external partnerships, e.g. agreeing on milestones and executing on an integration into your product.
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
- Takes an ownership mindset and works on whatever it takes to solve problems and delight users
- Can dig deep into the data, think from first principles, and deliver the right results
