Limbic is making quality mental healthcare available to everyone, everywhere.

We’ve built a virtual therapy assistant to support patients and clinicians along the talk therapy care journey, enhancing therapist productivity while also keeping patients engaged along the care journey.

We're growing quickly and we're backed by top-tier investors, as well as Innovate UK, Digital Health London, Entrepreneur First, and the European Commission.

It’s challenging. We’re ambitious. And we’re supporting one another to achieve our best and make real impact in the world.

As the first product manager at Limbic, you’ll work on improving the patient and therapist experience. What do clients struggle with while they are in therapy? What do therapists do that we can automate?

Ideally, you have experience working in a startup environment and can collaborate cross-functionally with growth, design and engineering. You can identify areas for improvement, come up with possible solutions and proposals, as well as iterate, implement, and drive releases that improve the product.

What you’ll do

  • Build and improve Limbic Access. our triage and diagnostics support tool → It's hard for patients to make the step and refer themselves to a mental service. Equally, the more time we can free up by assisting the therapists, the better they can treat the patients that do make that important step.
  • Build and improve Limbic Care. Once patients have entered Care, a sometimes daunting journey is awaiting them, and they need all the support they can get. At the same time, therapists are under a lot of pressure to see as many patients as possible every single day, and they can use an assistant like Limbic.
  • Research how we can help patients and therapists best → We want to be sure that we are solving problems for therapists and patients so that better care is delivered by therapists, for patients. This means understanding incentive structures in different healthcare systems and finding solutions within that that solve patient and therapist need. You'll research use cases where our tools can help them out.
  • Supervise the build process → You will work together with our engineers, clinicians and designers to build new features that enable better care for patients and empower therapists to do better work.
  • Grow the team →We currently have a group of engineers and a handful of designers. You'll be the first product manager on the team. Over time, this team will become huge. You'll both be hiring engineers, designers as well as product people.

Requirements

What will make you successful?

We want you to be successful at Limbic. If you fit these requirements, we think you will have a great time, but the most important thing is that you are passionate about what we're building! If you're excited about the opportunity, but don't fit all of the criteria, please still reach out.

  • You like the hustle and wear many hats → We're still at an early stage of our company’s growth — you have to be very comfortable in ambiguous environments and doing many different things. One moment you’ll be working on a refining clinical logic with our clinical lead, the next you’ll be working on understanding how GPs deal with mental health consultations with our user experience researcher.
  • You’re a team player → We work in multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll work with a group of super-talented designers, engineers, researchers and clinicians — together, you’ll have to solve really complex problems, so you need to communicate well and be able to have good discussions with domain experts.
  • You're a learner → No week is the same here at Limbic — we're all constantly learning as we go. You have to be infinitely curious and excited about figuring out stuff with us. As we're building the product, we'll probably get some things wrong here and there (though wrong does not mean unsafe at Limbic). That's all good, as long as we learn from them.
  • You have a proven track record → We’re a young company and at this stage, we need people that have been through this before. You worked on successful products and made them even better.
  • Bonus points if you worked on other therapeutic tools before.

You’ll be joining at a super interesting stage: 2 years ago we, it was the founders working on an idea. Now we’re the fastest-growing tool for therapists and patients in the NHS, backed by world class investors.

Do you want to help build the future of mental healthcare? This is your chance!
